Laughter is a coping mechanism for me.

My granddad recently died and my dads sister recently sent my dads brother (all siblings) a text saying if he didnt believe in god, "hed never see dad again." Pretty fucked in my opinion that she would even say that, but whatever.

My dad and his brother dont believe in god, and my uncle texted him saying "sounds like shes holding Dad up for ransom!"

Personally, I hate people who don't have a sense of humor. Always pretending to be offended by simple jokes. I don't know how they can function in this world, because Life can get incredibly dark at times, and you just need to be able to step back and see the humor in all the chaos.

Kinda like those parents who won't let their teenage son/daughter watch R-rated movies....because they are afraid their kid will be traumatized or something.

The kid isn't the one who is traumatized by that stuff. It's the weak ass PARENT who can't handle it, because they live in their overly sensitive, professionally offended bubble where everything is rainbows and sunshine.

Mention a dead baby joke, or a little sexist humor.....and their head explodes because they are sooooooo triggered.

See? Now I enjoyed that. And I think most normal people would, too.

But that simple little comic strip alone could probably get someone fired if they made it their background at work.

Hanging out at Accounting, think yer being witty and silly. Make that your desktop background. Uh oh, here comes Kelly from Human Resources.....she's in a very grumpy mood and she walks by your desk and noticed your background. Instead of just swallowing her pride and writing it off as a harmless joke.....she is "sooooo offended" by the sexual nature of the joke....that she runs to her boss and whines.

This gets you fired.

Women like Kelly are the bane of my existence. I fucking hate those types of people.

Don't know and don't care. I like what I like and I laugh at whatever I think is funny. If finding certain things funny makes me a bad person (whether it's clean humor, dirty humor, dark humor or straight up in horrible taste) then oh well.
