All of the franchises listed had the last game in the franchise released in 2008 (in North America), i.e. 10 years ago. The last Shadow Hearts game was released in 2006 (in North America). That's why it wouldn't be on this poll.

Shouldn't it deserve to be on the poll more than those other games, because its last entry was earlier than that of the other games?

Only if the poll question were actually in base 12.

I would say that FFT is more of a spin-off, even though it is my number one Final Fantasy game.

I still went ahead and voted for Wild ARMS, since it's my fav non-FF JRPG series.

Considering what the last game was like, I wouldn't have high hopes for a revival anyway.

There's a game out now called Tiny Metal that's something of a spiritual successor to AW. It's not great, but it scratches that itch. If you are a fan of AW and can find it cheap, I recommend it.

There's also a game coming out later this year or next year called Wargroove that looks promising.

I know the list has its limits but I can think of way more longer-gone, better franchises to revive. Enh, I guess if they're only one game then it doesn't qualify as a franchise. Don't care, I want to see Startropics and Guardian Legend come back.

Of the choices on the poll, Wario Land by far. I never got to own any of the games when they were new (although I did try out one or two of them for a few minutes each a long time ago) but I've gotten my hands on 1, 4 and Shake It! in recent years and wow was I missing out. Seems like the series took a back seat to the WarioWare Inc. games and, while I love me some WarioWare, I don't see much of a reason why both couldn't co-exist. They're unique, funny and, most importantly, fun to play through. Hopefully, I'll come across 2 and 3 soon and, if I ever find a Virtual Boy for cheap, the Wario Land for that system will be on the top of my list.

FFT is definitely a franchise. It just shouldn't be because only one entry is recognised as anything worth playing.

So agreed. I've always liked platformers and trying to find all the hidden items made this series special. Normally you only find such gameplay in 3D styles. The VB Warioland is a big reason why I own a VB. Good luck finding one for cheap. Might have to get a clunker and fix it since working ones turned into collectors items.
