I'm either 3/4 or 4/5 rolling scum in my recent games. It gets old.

I always had that with ghost when it was played here. Some days I would be ghost just about every game.

I want to play in the next one no matter what it is.

I see people complaining about the archive speed. I spent several hours iso'ing on there last game. The trick is to open all the tabs from a topic at once.

And I mean also, not letting topics purge as town kinda helps too.

Yeah I mean my solution isn't ideal. It's still slow but it at least helps somewhat

I also made a note of where important parts were. Which again not ideal but helps. Like I don't know if people saw I noted day end posts within my iso, I also marked down where FDs info dumps were in my personal notes. Plus any other important stuff

Absurd mafia ended in under a topic which I'd probably the fastest finished game that didnt end in a no contest that wasnt a 4 or 3 man game

That's basically my exact opinion too. Fate/zero > all. If Gravy has abandoned the game we once idly talked about years ago then maybe I'll reclaim it. I haven't hosted a game since Dresden Files Mafia, 5ish years ago.

This is something scum could easily do to avoid giving actual contributions of their own.

Yes which is why I strongly felt FD was godfather. Still was highly valuable though.

I know it seems silly but they host these huge 60+ player games and it's actually really fun once you wrap your head around it.

also, last year's MU anniversary game was my very first ever game on MU so it's not unusual to do this

also lol "60+" last year's anniversary game had 172 players

it was more coherent than you would expect it to be

Town literally had 4 scanning roles and a backup. 2 godfathers isn't that bad when one of them was a role that moved every night so could be caught by other means unlike a normal godfather

How is a godfather scanner a "weak godfather"

You can choose not to scan if it's that important to you

You can decide whether you want to be immune to every scan or just immune to most of them. That is in no way a downgrade from being immune to one type of scan and not having the option to also find power roles

The thing people don't seem to understand is that I put together the "knowledge dumps" for myself. I approach things very logically and it is helpful to me to try and put this in as much order as i can so i can view things objectively. It helps me cut through the chaos that others seem to thrive on.

I think the most successful of those efforts in this past game was when i came to the conclusion that scare and foolmo were both town based on an interaction i noticed while putting together the claims list. Unfortunately for foolmo, scare was saved on night 2 which gave me a reason to doubt him, otherwise id have defended his mislynch to the very end.

I presumably could just make the lists for my eyes only and not share them with anyone else but that seems pretty anti town.

I do get that and sharing them was very pro-town

I am annoyed that you totally didn't defend me at all D5 and then tried to execute my exact same NL plan D6 like nothing. If I was alive maybe we could've gotten it done, but you let me die.
