I started drinking unsweet tea because I wanted to enjoy a 0 calorie 0 sugar drink other than water, but it took a bit of getting used to. I recognize that sweet tea is the better tasting of the two.

Is this hot or cold tea? You should never put sugar in hot tea, but if you're drinking it iced, sugar might make it taste slightly less awful.

Cold tea tastes awful to me with or without the metric ton of sugar the rest of the South seems to think makes it great.

Was a long time sweet drinker, say 21 years or so.
Then one day i went on a diet and tried unsweet seriously. It was cold and delightfully refreshing. Not on a diet anymore and can't understand what about sweet tea it was that I liked for all those years. It's nasty now. (I live in the South) Meanwhile, I LOVE unsweet. Drink it with every meal that I go out for nowadays. Over soda and other items. --- Never trust an atom, they make up everything ... Copied to Clipboard!
