That being said, the person lying should also be held accountable. Even if she's a minor, the problem is nothing is happening to her. It's like she wasn't at fault at all. Which is very wrong. She should definitely be held accountable at some level...

But sure, there should be some kind of punishment for stuff like this since it can result in a death at times and it might discourage incidents. More generally, though, AoC laws (as currently written, anyway) are always going to be problematic

The reason I mentioned is because 1, I didn't know you were following, and 2, I was replying to you, but I can't split to talk about certain points since I'm using my phone...

Even if I was allowed to have people over when visiting my parents, I might ask them to not make a lot of noise. But, it does become a red flag when they ask you to come in another way(such as a window or backdoor in most cases, but not all). Also, some guys can tell when they're being lied to, which also means that some can't. We can't assume that he knew. We also can't assume she looked young. And even if she did, that honestly means nothing. I'm nearly 30 and look like a kid most of the time... Don't get me wrong, I would be careful in a situation if they looked young. But we also don't know what she looked like. We don't have enough details to say anything except possibilities. We need answers to questions like how he entered the house, what time it was, how old did she look, did he know she was lying or how old she really was, and many questions that would change how we view the case. We can go back and forth with why he should be held more or less accountable. But without those answers, we can't make an informed decision... And that's the problem. But I'd also rather not start with super guilty. We even mentioned this in another topic. He's guilty even before a trial...

When I say snuck in, I mean, did he know he was sneaking in? Like, maybe he didn't say much until they got to the room. Like just walking in without saying anything isn't considered sneaking in. Like did he know he wasn't suppose to be there. Like that. There's a difference between sneaking in and quietly coming into a house.

I haven't taken any risk, but I'm also not going to condemn him before we even hear his side. Innocent until proven guilty is how it's suppose to work. Let him tell his side before we just assume he's an evil sack or shit.

He was caught with her, yes. Which is why he's getting punished. But I still want to know what happen. Did she look older? Did she have a fake ID? Things like that. He's going to jail for sleeping with her, most likely. But depending the situation, it could change how long or whatever...
