If you ran out of room when trying to write the ingredients in your foods, then likely others would run out of room when trying to write down all the vegetables in a salad or other the ingredients in other common American foods.

My assumption is that this was an exercise intended to highlight the amount and proportion of carbs, protein, and fats; maybe even nutrients in your typical diet. It more likely than not was not intended as a platform for people to display their culture...

You should of stapled some extra paper to the form and put the ingredients on there. Then you should of worked out the cost of the paper and the staple and requested the money for that from the teacher.

Like where I lived, cultural things were slanted towards Germans, Scandinavians, and Hispanics because that constituted most people attending school, but where I live now it's different because the large ethnic or genealogical groups are different.

The overall attitude towards food in this country is that if it takes effort to make and isn't 90% batter and pastry, then it's some kind of posh wank food. People are genuinely proud of how lowbrow their food choices are. The amount of scots I know who wouldn't even know how to make breakfast that wasn't fried eggs and bacon astonishes me. The people in my office either eat vegetable broth day-in-day-out, or a sausage roll. 50 year old women eating mcdonalds for lunch 2-3x a week.

Same goes for Northern English folk. You guys are possibly worse.

I understand your point and can see why that is frustrating, but why can't you just attach an extra sheet of paper? I would rather they print less paper then add extra space for every student especially when the majority aren't eating large complex meals. If every worksheet was customized for every student it would just be a huge waste of time.

Edit: actually, this is just stupid. If all worksheets were customized you would probably just complain about worksheets being racist because yours has more space for ingredients. Is school culturally biased, yes, probably all over the world. But, your example is just a bad example and you wanting to complain....for attention? I'm not sure why.
