Interesting. TC goes after Xsquader like he's Hitler, despite Xsquader having an admitted mental illness and whose crimes are tiny compared to this but he defends this guy as a momentary lapse of judgement.

Xsquader has never shown one ounce of remorse for anything hes ever done. After attempting to "stress test" my connection multiple times without any reflection i'm less understanding of him.

Because the entire event was one all encompassing moment in time. You wouldn't be able to say the same for example of a serial killer.

Mental health is an issue, but I honestly think these kids don't think consequences fucking exist any more. They just want to do whatever the fuck they want to do by and large and have some of the thinnest skin ever. "This guy makes me mad? I'll shoot him." "My valentines day is shit? Good point, they said it only took 3 minutes.

So another case for if he didn't have a gun that powerful or a gun at all, less people would be dead.

In 3 minutes it's entirely plausible to have these thoughts and realizations.

"Fuck this i'm going to do it, i'm going to kill everyone."

"Oh shit! I've actually killed people what am I doing, these are people I've shared hallways with. This might be a mistake."

to

"What have I done? I was angry and wanted others to feel this way but there's blood pooling on the floor and they aren't moving."

That is the moment he drops the gun and randomly runs to a Walmart.

Nope because sexual attraction has more to do with biology than circumstances such as bullying that lead to the types of behavior that unfolded yesterday.

Nope wrong. You don't even know the difference between a pedophile and a child molester.

Child molesters continue the cycle of harm because of previous personal abuse as a child.

A pedophile is simply someone who is attracted to children and has no correlation to being previously abused. It's a natural attraction.

You're so far out of you element at this point its becoming hard to engage in a meaningful way.

LOL you just made my argument for me. If a child molester continues the cycle from previous abuse and not a natural attraction then by your own logic "anybody can be a child rapist given the perfect blend of circumstances" such as being abused as a child. You're hopeless.

Insanity pleadings have an extremely low chance of finding success, period. Evidence would need to be introduced that he suffered from severe mental illness such that he could not understand what he was doing or the consequences of his actions, or that he could not understand what he was doing was wrong.

I find it difficult to believe that he would be diagnosed with something akin to paranoid schizophrenia in which it could be shown that his connection with reality was up in the air.

Bad decision sounds like trying to eat as many Jalapenos as you can in one minute. Planning a massacre, and killing 17 people is a bit more, its not like someone does that and is like "whoops". While I believe it's possible for a person to have mental and emotional clarity after performing such a terrible thing, it would probably be naive to let it affect his sentencing much. Take the death penalty off the table if his pentience can be proven sincere.

But if it can be proven, we have a psychological unicorn here. A person who perpetrated a mass shooting, didnt kill themself, and apparently is both lucid and pentient. If anyone could interview/study him and that research lead to the decreasing of future incidents, I'd be okay with him having a few years knocked off his sentence.
