Child molesters continue the cycle of harm because of previous personal abuse as a child. A pedophile is simply someone who is attracted to children and has no correlation to being previously abused. If a child molester continues the cycle from previous abuse and not a natural attraction then by your own logic "anybody can be a child rapist given the perfect blend of circumstances" such as being abused as a child.
