He was a former student at the school but was EXPELLED for "disciplinary reasons". He had an AR-15 rifle and multiple magazines when he stormed the school wearing a gas mask. Police dissected his social media which are disturbing as students said they knew it would be him as one teacher said he was identified as a potential threat. 17 y/o Matthew Walker told all his classmates that he "knew it was going to be him. A lot of kids were saying it was going to be home. A lot of students threw jokes around that he was going to shoot up at a school. He was going class to class just shooting random kids. Everything he posts on social media is about weapons. It's sick" 12 people were found dead inside the school, 2 more just outside and another in a nearby street. 2 others died later in hospital.. The shooting happened near the end of the schol day as police initially described him as a student and former member of the US Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps Horrifying video was filmed inside a classroom capturing the moment the shooter wearing a gasm mask burst in and began shooting. He tried to blend in with students after removing his gas mask and wore plain clothes but it did not work as police eventually caught him His social media posts confirmed he was obsessed with firearms and was a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He threatened to kill people who did him wrong and one student who did not want to be identified said "He's been a troubled kid and he's always had issues going on. he shot guns because he felt it gave him, i guess an exhilerating feeling. I stayed clear of him most of the time" Do you think having an OBSESSION with guns is a dangerous threat? Do you think having an obsession with guns is a dangerous threat? Of course it is-it's like being obsessed with knives or explosives or anything else that's lethal. Obviously, having it as a country wide obsession doesn't help either but there's too much money being thrown at it for that to change. See you all again next time a bunch of kids get shot, folks! Accept you have a fucking problem in America and it is getting worse, more guns will not fix it too. They need to be banned fully and them removed from everyone or these shootings will keep happening --- GT:- Babbit55 PC - i5 4670k, 16g ram, RX 480, 2tb hybrid drive. ... Copied to Clipboard!

And so begins the daily guns are fine arguments. 18 school shootings this year alone. If the problem was actually just guns, it would have been worse years ago back when schools had rifle clubs and gun ownership was more widespread (since nowadays it's more a matter of fewer people owning more guns). However, since adding restriction after restriction and reducing the number of legal gun owners, mass shootings have only INCREASED. If you're going to cite anything as a problem, maybe you should criticize adding regulations. As for the "18 school shootings," that's a bullshit misleading claim which conflates domestic disputes happening on school grounds with mass shootings. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ... Zeus posted...Babbit55 posted...And so begins the daily guns are fine arguments. 18 school shootings this year alone. And as if the "school shootings" claim wasn't bullshit enough, it turns out that it includes: -Suicides (including an adult who happened to kill himself in a parking lot -- yeah, real "school shooting" there) -An accidental discharge where nobody was hurt -A single bullet fired through a window where, again, nobody was hurt So unless you're arguing that banning guns would stop suicides, immediately you're crossing off some of your nonsense. That's not counting the deaths which resulted from domestic disputes which happened to occur on school grounds and would have been easily done with a knife, etc. Otherwise the problems got worse AFTER regulation, which shows that your approach is ass-backwards and a ban would likely do nothing to do solve the issue of violence, suicide, etc. Oh, as for all of your mass shooting hype, mass shootings account for something like half a percent of gun deaths and gun deaths accounts for a bit less than half of murders which, in turn, account for a far smaller % of deaths than other issues. Oh, and by the way, roughly half of all violent crime is gang-related yet I don't see a peep out of you about gangs. Babbit55 posted... No, America has half hearted gun regs that it doesn't enforce. No, it HEAVILY enforces regulations and it has tons of them on the books. The problem is that gun-free zones turn people into victims and the majority of regulations have been counterproductive. Meanwhile other, more prevalent issues -- such as with alcohol -- have steadily been on the rise and the most we've seen to counter that are PSAs. If litigious crusaders put a fraction of the effort into alcohol control as they did gun control, we'd see far fewer overall deaths *including* fewer gun deaths considering that murder is often linked to alcohol consumption. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
