No, seriously. The fight is just as unfun as I remember it. Who's fucking genius idea was it to have thunderblight mean you get stunned after *every* hit?

And this is just the HR5 version.. I don't even want to try the G version..

The magala's new movesets are fun (at least in HR5, can't speak for G yet) but Zinogre is just... awful.

I need to know these girls' personality though. It enhances the porn. Not gonna lie, the tentacle scene in Sakura Fantasy would've been far less impactful if I didn't get to know this main girl for a good hour or two. Especially when you deliberately have to fuck up that combat sequence super hard to get that scene rofl.

Which part was that?

There was this scene where a bunch of councilmen were having these long drawn out meetings and not getting anything done. And then the heroines later talk to one of the members to complain, and he had a very sensible explanation on why things had to be that way.

I was like, wow, that actually makes sense. I didn't like these guys at first for fucking shit up but it also made sense why they had to do it. Also made that particular councilman a pretty relateable guy, but who cares considering he didn't even have a sprite or a name. So I'm gonna have to go with B. nicked from another source, final answer

I hate the Sakura series, but I would get chapter 2 of Sakura Fantasy. But its a measure of their (lack of) writing abilities by not being able to write an overarching story and not having chapter 2 after all these years. It's not like their games take long to make

Doesn't Nekoworks do that though, and there was a guide with links to the exe to convert the steam version for months until the official patch was sold on their site.

Yeah I think most people figure out how to do it. If they get poor sales it's cuz they oversaturated their own series with poor quality shit.

Like I said though, Sakura Fantasy was probably the only one of the I think... 3? that I've played not entirely to full that I enjoyed. I only enjoyed it in the poor man's Kyonyuu Fantasy sense, but if there wasn't a good story and all the characters were girls

the steam rule against uncensor patches is fairly recent iirc, I'm not sure how many sakura games have even been released since it happened

the only one I read was the very first, sakura spirit, since I just had to know what was up with it . turned out it was awful lol. I know someone who's read them all and makes very sarcastic reviews complete with tons of screenshots of broken grammar, misplaced words, typos, etc, so I feel like I've mostly experienced all they have to offer
