Yeah that level 60 mission takes too long to complete to make me want to grind out 1 million points again.

Right now, since the game is still in infancy, I pretty much just grind out my 10 daily Crystal quests, and work on the Hard story mode stuff for gems when I feel like it.

Grinding more than that on a game this early seems like a good way to burn out before the game really starts to take off.

I have Squall's 5*, but not Cloud's. So when Squall's in my party, he's using his weapon of course, but when he isn't and I'm using Cloud, Cloud is using Squall's 5*.

I think it may depend on how much you've leveled it.

Like, I think Squall's 5* at level 25 is going to be better than Cloud's 4* at level 1 on Cloud. If they're both level 25, the Buster Sword might be better due to the passive bonus that Cloud gets from using Buster Sword.

Makes sense. I'm only leveling 5*s right now. Maybe in some mystical future day where I have the resources to upgrade 4*s I can adjust, but I don't see that happened for a while.

I don't switch my party too often so it's not that big of a deal for me, but I have definitely forgotten a couple times and entered an encounter with my new character in his 1* gear. Oops.

I did grind out the 1M points for last co-op event. Haven't tried the new fights yet but from all reports they sound awful so I doubt I'll do it this time. Shame, will be the first missions I don't finish.

aww yeah I'm in top for # of 5*s here, I thought Bacon would be beating me

...god damn he new Co-op mission though yeah, getting half the amount of points I did from the last one per run means this would take twice as long on top of having actual difficulty. Thought I might push through it but now guess not, too much work.

Chapter 6 tomorrow - Wakka, Galuf and Shantotto obtainable.

Cycle quests are giving double rewards for the next week, which is great. All the cycle quests reset too, so thats a bunch of extra gems to get.

1000 free gem login reward tomorrow for 1 million downloads.

There are some new paid gem bundles available. Prices are still a bit too much and theres not much incentive to spend yet given how many free gems are available.

Since I like to autopilot my games, I only run the Cycle quests with my full 50 team so I can auto the highest difficulties and not pay attention to the game.

I tend to grind the exp out on other areas, like farming summon enhancing mats or 2* weapons. If I am overloaded with T3 Crystals, then maybe I'll do a Level 30 run on some lower level characters.

My priority was to get through the chapters as soon as possible so that I could have all the heroes. I haven't really been able to get a solid set of gear for any character, so it's just nice to make sure I have all the characters at the ready.

only 1 Galuf gold from the guarantee... gem pull plus 17 tickets = 27 equips pulled for 0 gold fml

Had my first failed coop today. That was frustrating. Probably will bail out of groups with a WoL from now on, he was pretty useless.

My WoL does less damage then I thought he would(Granted I'm not really dumping that many crystals into him since Yuna has priority)

That taunt skill of his looks pretty nice though. Not sure how well it translates into the "endgame" though.

loaded up the jp game again to show my brother the characters... tempted to use the 20 tickets I just got in it even though I'm not playing this version anymore

but then I noticed another thing, with the events it doesn't look like they just come with the 5* armour anymore, but 5* weapons? I don't recall this from the last time I was playing jp version but neat to know



makes me more tempted to just rush through these events and see for sure

also there's armour medals you can spend 5 to get a character's 5* armour

I pulled Firion's 5* and Silver armor in a 5k pull, along with Shantotto's 4* Weapon and Wakka's 4* Armor.

Don't forget to try and use your stamina as much as possible on the World of Illusion while it's up now too. Most people should be able to beat Orb Spring 3 without too much issue this time around, so you can stock up on weapon and armor enhancement mats.

I've been using OS3 to level up Galuf and Wakka with a Cloud carry then leveling up Shantotto in cycle quests where she holds her own fine auto battling. I've got at least 20 keys I need to plow through sometime, probably over the weekend.
