alright finally got Yuna's Astral Rod from a ticket pull thank god

... I only had to get 4 Vanille weapons and 2 Hopes and even a Zidane 5* from this banner first... but finally I can move

Finally beat Ifrit EX without breaks. Cloud/Bartz/Squall with friend Vanille. Had to time the first threshold so it triggered with enough time to swap in Vanille and debuff immediately. After that it wasnt too bad. Got lucky and managed to stunlock him for 3 rounds with Cross Slash and then Ifrit to finish him off.

Finally platinumed my Enhancer for Warrior of Light. Another 3 more Crystal Levels until he is 50/50. Can't seem to get any duplicates of his armor though, so he still only has 90 CP, and I've had to start picking and choosing my Passives on him.

My Tifa, who I hardly use, has 110 CP though >_>.

Finished Ifrit EX yesterday. Caught up on everything aside from the co-op event which I just need to sit down and bang out sometime soon. Starting to stockpile too many items so I might need to do some 2x drop crystal farming soon to use some up.

Annnd finally got Terra 50/50 with her weapon maxed though... would be nice if I could get one more of Terra's ring and have her perfectly maxed but eh

Setzer's Stage 5 was so much easier than the others, didn't have to prepare anything special for it at all.

What's the best stage to farm to first component for ifrit? I was doing decent with pt 3, but now i have way more of the second component

I'm an idiot, btw. I was following him while doing the Ifrit Event, so his Cloud was "glowing" and his Shinra Beta looked Platinum as a result. Turns out it was simply Silver. To be fair, I am colorblind, so it doesn't take much but a few tricks of the light to confuse me >_>...

I just don't pull enough 5* Weapons or 4* Silvers of armor or weapons. Every 10+1 for the last 7 or 8 pulls has been a 5* Weapon, one, two, or (at most) three Silvers, and the rest all bronze. All my tickets have been Bronze.

I have some weird CP limits as a result.

Mine are all listed above, if you can read my weird post. I've stalled on Gem income until I start working on Hard clears more.

Speaking of Hard Clears, I can't seem to ever hit the target scores. I did 1-1 on Hard, no breaks or damage taken, hell, enemies didn't even get turns, and I still came up 1k score short.

Speed is the most important thing for scores. Its worth getting broken if it means clearing the stage a turn earlier.

... oh Ifrit EX wasn't bad at all with my Terra/Vanille/Cloud team, + my brother's Vivi support

but god damn Cloud, I used 5 Cross Slashes but got 0 paralysis hits

but like I said even with that issue I didn't really have any trouble at all, although certainly helped having Vivi blow down huge Brave #s at a couple points

With this though I've got all Event missions complete (finished the 1mil Dragon co-op thing earlier).... now I'm at 19/20 lvl 20 crystals, and reach Rank 70 (I'm only 62)

Now I've got 11 tickets and I don't think I wanna use any of them atm

Is there any point to saving 4* weapons if I have a better version? Should I use them to rank up 5*s?

4*s still have passive bonuses so yeah keep them.

I use 4* weapons on characters I don't have 4* or 5* affinities for. For example, Cecil is using Squall's 4*, and Penelo is using Zidane's 4*. Likewise, I do the same for armor, like my Cloud is using Squall's 4* armor.

If you master the 4* (fully LB & max level) you get the passive on the character to equip even when you arent using the weapon. Same with 5*s.
