There should be an fighting game franchise that just adapts other properties every time. It would be like Musou.

I guess it's a little hard to have entire new move sets every time, but maybe not? Is it a good thing to be able to rely on at least some familiar move sets beween entries?

Sword Art Online Ordinal Scale beated. Kinda mixed thoughts on this one. Some of the stuff was fun, and Yuuna's role ended up being better than I expected. Fight scenes were great as usual, focus on Asuna was awesome since I feel like SAO's at its best when she's doing stuff, and the ending was great. The premise was kinda silly though (how does copying memories also delete those memories?), and the villains were lame, as they always are in SAO. Show would be so much better with more female villains. I did appreciate that the cops actually got involved for once.

Finding out Tarantino is a rape apologist hit me pretty hard, but Pulp Fiction is still going to be my favorite movie probably forever. It blows, but it doesn't really have an affect on my opinion of his work.

It especially sucks that a director is causing an IP to be dug through the mud though, when the original creator probably had nothing to do with who was picked to work on their story.

The most recent episodes were good in Magus Bride, Violet Evergarden, and FranXX? What is this sorcery? Violet Evergarden was especially touching.

They've all made such simple changes, too, but it went a long way towards making them better for me. Hopefully this trend continues for all of them next week

Franxx episode was fine. I'm still not like, THRILLED with it especially in comparison to watching a show like Ancient Magus' Bride at the same time but it's doing things.

And I've been feeling this for a bit now but I'm waaaaaay more invested in Ichigo and Goro than Hiro like wow

My theory is they're grooming Ichigo to be the lead after Hiro dies at the end of the cour. Also have little doubt that Stamens can pilot with other Stamens and vice versa, and it's being kept from them.

I've always been sketchy about her. She's been played up as a manipulative and abusive sociopath, and it's just getting more apparent as the physical and psychological impact on Hiro worsens.

I'm predicting episode 7 or 8. His self-destructive nature in accomplishing what he feels brings meaning to his life, rather than the personal connections he's fostered with people who care for him, can't possibly be rewarded for much longer. I'm guessing he either dies in this upcoming battle, or he gets someone else killed. The former just seems more likely.
