They explained the route well. Quite a bit of down time due to unskippable cut-scenes and quizzes. A lot of donations were read out in this run.

Overall it was well played. The runner pulled off many of the tight tricks and had a couple of clutch moments.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped - Any%

Decent start to the marathon. Reasonable funny and amusing throughout, though it did start to drag very briefly at parts.

Ratchet & Clank - NG+
4.5 / 5
Very enjoyable and a lot of interesting tech. Not terribly long either, short and sweet.

Splatoon 2 - Any%
4 / 5
The couch was was more entertaining than the run itself. I enjoyed that they had someone from the localization team on the couch providing commentary that wasn't specific to speedrunning, and they all had a decent rapport. But as charmander said the execution was lacking at points. I suppose the game is only 7 months old, but this is a runner of the original Splatoon so I would have expected him to be sharper.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - Any%
8.5/10
The first cut-scene was quite long, but it gave him an opportunity to introduce the game. Overall he did a very good job at explaining the route and strategies. If you ever plan to speedrun this game I'd suggest watching this video as a general overview. The zips were well done and the play was generally good with only a few minor mistakes.

LittleBigPlanet 2 - Co-op New Game+

Co-Ops are fun to watch. I also like to see strategies where one of them sacrifices themselves in order for the other player to achieve faster movement. The commentary was a bit dry and sometimes boiled down to "jump here, grapple there, etc." They mention this was an RTA WR and speedrun.com confirms this, but it sounds like the community measure runs without load times (maybe they keep the leaderboard somewhere else?).

Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! - Hell's Finest

It's a cute game to watch. The commentator wasn't the greatest, but I liked the overall play. The game giving you 1000 lives means you are going to die, though with the exception of one section the player did quite well.

BattleBlock Theater - Any% No Level Skips
6.0/10
They seemed quite knowledgeable about the game. For some reason I didn't get into the game, to me it felt a bit repetitive. I feel this is one of those games that are better to play than to watch. I did like some of the skips/shortcuts towards the end though.

RTA comes from old Japanese communities to distinguish it from TA (time attack). On Nico (maybe some other sites?) you used to only be able to livestream 30 minutes at a time, so early speedrunners used to pause both their timer and their game while they started a rebroadcast; this was a TA. RTA eventually evolved as a concept for an uninterrupted run, which is what most speedruns are anyway, so that's why the term stuck.

Watched the RE7 run. Pretty good, thanks to the runner getting screwed so many times. Not only was it funny, but it was great to see how he recovered and used alternate strategies on the fly.
