So my big problem is that I want to get the Suikoden 1 content in Suiko2 so I'm playing Suiko1 first. I hope I can knock out both games before the month is up. I feel like I'm about halfway through Suiko1 based on the number of SoDs I have.

The writing quality was not up to the level of Suikoden 2 (at least as far I recall). Honestly, this writing was just a step above Breath of Fire II. I enjoyed the game a lot - I'm a sucker for massive recruitment and party size-related shenanigans. As for the main plot, however, I found it pretty flimsy. There was a lot of potential that was wasted, but you could see it from time to time in many of the side characters. I'm really looking forward to my S2 run now that I've played S1 for the first time.

I will say that I don't think characters stuck out to me as much in this game as in S2; there's definitely better development there.

Pushed myself through Greenhill before work today. Still got a ways to go, of course. Suikoden II just feels right after playing S1. Everything about this installation feels more natural and the story is so much more well-told.

Gameking has beaten Night in the Woods.

I really enjoyed this game. Exploring Possum Springs and talking with its citizens was a good time and reminded me a bit of Life is Strange. I felt like the last bit of the game felt a bit rushed, but regardless it was a worthwhile experience.

In Banko-Kazooie, I'm about to start Rusty Bucket Bay, so I'm reaching the end there too.

For my next nom, I will choose Snake Pass.

Last night I beat Neclord for the final time in Suikoden II. Not too far from the end now!

Also I beat Night in the Woods. I don't know if I mentioned that like two weeks ago.

About 75 minutes into BK, and I have obtained all the Jiggies and notes in the first three worlds. I forget what the minimum totals are required to be able to beat the game, but I am hoping to avoid Rusty Bucket Bay and Click Clock Wood.

I didn't realize how much of everything was needed to beat the game. I was able to bypass some of Click Clock Wood though.

For my first, and maybe last, speedrun of a video game, I finished in 4:54:04. I ended up with 96 Jiggies and 889 notes.
