Yeah I'm not sure with him. It's weird because at first it hypes him up so much. He can in canon break the sound barrier while flying and also destroy entire towers in a single blast while moving at a few hundred mph

When he got "toasted" it was mostly luck, to the point where most traditional weapons probably couldn't hit him outside of an insanely expert sniper

But after he teams up with Hiccup he rarely shows the same extent of ability. Kind of have to wonder if he's even capable of flying that fast with Hiccup on him (there's no way Hiccup could physically hold on at the speed of sound)

When does he in canon fly at the sound of speed?

I imagine Scott has to be at least a 4, given how he can get punched into the sky, through brick walls, etc and not care. That puts him above all the Rambo gunners

He has the innate ability to understand exactly how things work, and on top of that, he comes with the acquired powers of Telekinesis, Rapid Cellular Regeneration and [customization]. He may not steal the powers of other mercenaries in the fight.

Abilities

Customization - Each week, Sylar may bring two of his acquired abilities as part of his moveset.

Intuitive Aptitude (Results) - Sylar's most notable talent is his ability to replicate the abilities of others. After being rostered in a victory, Sylar may replicate any specific ability or talent displayed by a randomly selected mercenary who participated in the battle. Each ability acquired this way will be added to his customization (replacing a previously obtained ability if there is not an open slot.

Upgrades

Ability Upgrade:
Sylar may preselect an enemy to steal an ability from upon being rostered in a victory.

Character Upgrade:
Sylar may store up to seven acquired abilities and may choose three as part of his customization.

New Ability:
I Hate Heroes (Pre-Battle) - Once every 3 weeks, Sylar can skip the formalities and KO a randomly selected Superhuman enemy. The chances of them being selected are twice as high if their classification is Heroic. When using this, Sylar will steal ALL talents and abilities from the KO'd merc. He will have these in addition to his normal customization, and will lose the new abilities during Results. At the start of the match, he will begin the fight in the middle of the terrain, carving open the KO'd merc's brain for the first three seconds of the battle.

Terrain

Kirby Plaza - The public square of New York City, as it appears in the season 1 finale of Heroes, prior to the explosion.

Tried to kind of make it a mix of Kirby/MMX as far as the absorption goes.

Not sure what upkeep to make him. Giving him the TK and self-healing because I feel like they're the most associated with him.

Todd Ingram is as he appears in Scott Pilgrim with full Vegan powers. He is carrying his guitar.

Better Than Most People (Start of Battle) - The secret to gaining psychic abilities is apparently eating the right way, lest your brain get clogged up with cheese byproduct. Who knew? Every four weeks, Todd may share this incredible knowledge with a random enemy merc. That merc's brain will be partially replaced with curds and whey, and while this will somehow not impede them in any other way, they will only operate at half the intelligence that they usually would. Shouldn't have eaten that gelato, bitch.

Upgrades

New Abilities

Tell it to the cleaning lady on Monday (Peacetime) - During Peacetime, Todd may select a merc on another team and begin a confusing taunt. He may do this each week.

Because you'll be dust by Monday (Trigger) - If Todd faces that merc's team in battle this week, he will inform the merc that their imminent destruction lies on Monday. This has no immediate repercussions.

Because you'll be pulverized in two seconds (Trigger) - If Because You'll Be Dust triggered, Todd will begin the day's battle by lifting the targeted merc with his telekinesis and slamming them into the nearest wall an amount of times equal to how many Triggers (plus one) went off for Todd in the previous week's fight.

And the cleaning lady, she cleans up. Dust. She cleans dust (Trigger) - If an enemy merc was hit by Pulverized, there will be a 50% chance of this triggering. No further actions will be taken and the victim will be left to mull the ramifications of their impending dusting. The roll will be decided post-rosters.

So what's on Monday? (Trigger) - If And the Cleaning Lady fails to trigger, this will trigger instead. The pummeled merc will manage to confuse Todd enough that Tell It to the Cleaning Lady will go on two week's recharge while he tries to sort out if the cleaning lady had the weekends off.

Terrain

Lee's Palace - The concert hall where Scott Pilgrim fought Todd. Access to the building and the surrounding streets is allowed.

About a week later than promised, but better late than never! Probably needs another upgrade, but wanted to post what I had here. Have some ideas for a Ramona build as well.

Scott Pilgrim (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World)

Upkeep: 3/Week
Min Bid: X GP

Scott Pilgrim is as seen at the end of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (movie and comics). He is armed with The Power of Self Respect and does not have his extra life.

...Seven Little Kisses? (On Purchase) - When Scott is purchased, randomly select six male mercs and one female merc on opposing teams. These Mercs will be considered Ramona's Exes for the purposes of Scott's other abilities. If there aren't enough Mercs to fill this criteria when Scott is purchased, the next Male or Female characters purchased after Scott up to a total of 7 will become Ramona's exes.

Seven Evil Exes (Trigger) - Whenever Scott and one of Ramona's Exes are rostered in battle together, the Ex (or Exes, if multiple are present) will prioritize defeating Scott before all other combatants. If Scott's team wins the battle, Scott will gain 1000 points times the total number of exes defeated across all weeks, up to a maximum of 7000 points (so 1000 points for the first ex, 2000 for the second, etc.). Scott can defeat the same Ex multiple times for points.


UPGRADES:

(Ability Upgrade; 10000 Points)

1up (Limited Use 1) - Whenever Scott is defeated in battle, he will respawn at the team's starting location with full knowledge of the fight so far and full health/capabilities (mana, etc.). When purchased, this ability may be kept or passed on to a teammate. This upgrade can be purchased multiple times.

(New Pre-Battle; XX EXP)

We Are Sex Bob-Omb And We're Here To Make You Think About Death And Get Sad And Stuff (Pre-Battle) - Once every three weeks, Scott will choose one of Sex Bob-Omb's songs to perform, conferring one of the following effects in battle:

We Are Sex Bob-Omb - Two randomly selected enemies (chosen post-rosters) will join Scott in actually performing this song in a neutral location in the chosen terrain after which they will fight as normal. The opposing leader may choose who will be the vocalist and who will be the drummer.
Garbage Truck - One preselected ally rides into battle in a standard garbage truck full of garbage.
Black Sheep - One randomly selected enemy will be the team's black sheep this week - they won't be informed of any pre-battle plans their team makes. In addition, while the rest of their team still won't actively work against them, the chosen enemy's safety will be the lowest priority for their teammates.
Bass Battle - Scott challenges one randomly selected enemy to a bass battle side topic. If Scott wins, the loser is KO'd. If the enemy merc wins, then Scott is KO'd, but he has a 50% chance of tricking the enemy into drinking half and half, causing them to lose any supernatural powers or abilities they have for this week's battle.
Threshold - One preselected ally and randomly selected enemy fight with extreme jealousy towards each other.
Ramona - One randomly selected enemy feels the urge to write a sappy love song towards one randomly selected female merc (chosen post rosters). They will spend the first minute of battle performing this song, after which they will fight as normal. The chosen merc also comes to battle with an acoustic guitar in addition to their normal equipment.

Scott must be rostered when using this ability. If any of Ramona's Exes are present on the opposing team, any randomly selected enemies for the chosen option are chosen from a pool of eligible Exes instead.

ok so based on that, Todd's definitely an easy 5

Todd completely wrecks Scott without Scott putting up much of a fight, but at the same time, Scott manages to get thrown through multiple brick walls and get up unharmed, which definitely puts him above a 2.

5 and 3 should be fine

I think hes a borderline 3 whos only real value is as a 1Up farm for better mercs.

I dont see him being respected much to actually hurt anyone outside of low tier and even in low tier I see lots of potential for him to be perennially the "oh yeah and Scott Pilgrim is here" guy.

Self-healing and TK makes him an easy 6 at least, though power absorption I think potentially puts him at 7 level

If we do end up splitting high tier into 6/7/8 then he's definitely a 7.
