Yeah, she's...interesting. Honestly I don't know if she should make the cut going forward, although I like the arguments about how you can get around her if you have enough focus to ignore her (that would not include the likes of Ash or Hogan, unfortunately)

I'm honestly kind of leaning toward her potentially be pure support. I think being able to highjack the terrain to be Blair Woods and then having her appear could be more fair (and would also avoid people being stuck with an empty roster slot if they lose the terrain bid

I kind of want to make a Deep Sea King (One-Punch Man) build, but I'm not sure if he'd surpass 7 rank. He'd probably be one of the ones that if we were to expand to 8 tiers, he'd land in 8 (Genos is one of the highest 6/weeks, and he holds his own against Deep Sea King, although DSK can heal from his wounds really quick)

Also feel like we could use a Legend of Korra build (probably for Korra, but Amon or Zaheer would be interesting too. Maybe even an Iroh build!)

Yeah. Gonna Fly Now is iconic for the whole 'pre-fight montage' thing, not for Rocky losing. If you wanted that represented in an ability I'd write one that was something like...

"YO ADRIAN, WE DID IT!" (Results): After any fight in which Rocky is rostered loses by no more than 5% of the total vote (or 1 vote, if the value of a single vote would be greater than that) or wins by any amount, his team will receive an additional 5 EXP to distribute amongst themselves for that day's battle. Forfeits will not trigger this ability, even if they go to topic.

Also, I finally need to go in and fix Powerpuff Girls now

as they are, they have KO protection that essentially gives you 2 op 7/weeks upon being hit, which is, uh, broken as shit. To be fair though, at the time of making the build, I wasn't sure people would respect them

It also has all 3 of them as separate targets, meaning all three would have to be separately KO'd to prevent them from being rostered

...But that's not what's iconic. Like go over his fights for a sec.

-Vs Apollo: Preps before meeting him, twice. Loses once but it's not an instigator for the big comeback win.
-Vs Clubber Lang: the one example where he does job out. Comes back mad boosted and mops him up.
-Vs Drago: Trains before fighting him, never loses to him.
Vs Mason Dixon: Again, trains before going toe-to-toe with him, loses in a split decision.

So no, it's not iconic unless you think Rocky 3 is the only Rocky movie that exists. The iconic 'thing' for Rocky movies is having a training montage to power up for the big fight, not losing and coming back stronger. What IS iconic about Rocky's losses is 'losses that are effectively wins', but it has nothing to do with his montages. You can split these things up and get a better merc out of the bargain.

The Man In Black is as he appears in LOST. He may transform freely into his Smoke Monster form. If The Light is extinguished, he will become completely mortal and will lose access to his Smoke Monster form.

Abilities

The Light (Passive)
- Whenever The Man In Black is rostered, a small pool of water will spawn in the dead center of the terrain, emanating a bright light, with a stone cork in the center, as seen in The Heart of the Island. If the terrain would not normally allow for it, it will be warped to make room. If the cork is removed or broken, the pool will drain and the light will extinguish.

What They Died For (Trigger) - Every enemy that is KO'd on either team during wartime will be scanned by The Man In Black before the battle. If rostered, he will come to battle with all of their memories and the ability to perfectly mimic their voice and appearance. He will not have access to any of their weapons or abilities.

Someone should just make LoL Draft Mercs. Have 300 mercs. You get 7 bans or some shit and a handicap number to stay under say 23 so you can roster a 7 a 6 a 5 a 3 and a 2. And thats it. (5 mercs total).

Villainous Male Superhuman
6/week

Darth Vader is as he appears in the Star Wars films and Rebels, carrying his lightsaber and with all powers explicitly shown.

Dark Lord of the Sith (Pre-Battle) - Vader's sorcerer ways are as frightening as ever. In any given Wartime he may choose one of the following tricks.

"The Force is strong in this one." - For a week of recharge on Dark Lord, Vader may pre-select an opposing Superhuman on the other team. If he is rostered, Vader will always be aware of where they are during the week's battle no matter where they are.

"He will join us or die." - For two weeks of recharge on Dark Lord, Vader may reach out and inform a preselected enemy merc that it would be a good idea to join the winning team. That merc's owner may either hand them over for the week as a Possession, or else they will be injured the following week for their impertinence.

"Be careful not to choke on your aspirations." - For two weeks of recharge on Dark Lord, Vader may chose an opposing mercenary. If that mercenary uses any abilities after this ability is declared, Vader will begin the week's battle by putting them in a Force Choke for an amount of seconds equal to their upkeep.

"I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further." - In any given Wartime, Vader may chose an ability already declared by his team that week. It will immediately be canceled and any effects it may have had will reverse to a state as if it had never been declared at all. Dark Lord will go on recharge for an amount of weeks equal to the recharge of the chosen ability.

Upgrades

New Ability

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (Results) - If Vader's team loses a week's battle, he will not take it well. Vader may let out his infamous wail and scamper off, refusing to be rostered in the next week's fight (Dark Lord may not be used that week either). An amount of enemies equal to Vader's upkeep from the team that beat him will hear his cry, and with a hearty shout of NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO similarly refuse to be rostered or use abilities, chosen randomly from the lowest upkeep and climbing upward as needed.

Death Star - The Death Star as seen in Episode 4 with all areas accessible.

Jaws is as seen in the original movie, a very large and hungry shark.

Just when you thought it was safe... (Passive) - Being a shark, Jaws wouldn't be much use on land. Fortunately if there is any body of water on the terrain, Jaws will automatically spawn in it at the nearest possible location to his team.

You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat (Pre-Battle) - Every three weeks, Jaws may declare this ability to force the battle onto his terrain of the Orca.

Upgrades

Ability Upgrade

Reduce the recharge of You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat to every two weeks. In addition, at the declaration of the ability Jaws may choose to take a bite out of the Orca, causing it to begin taking on water at the start of the battle.

Terrain

The Orca - An average sized fishing vessel floating off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, holding a few scattered harpoons and air tanks. Access to the rest of the Atlantic is allowed for the brave.
