Jack Skellington

Rating: 80/100
A phenomenal lead by Disney standards, Jack actually does a better job of encapsulating a character who is overcome by the lures of a world outside of his own than Ariel, the local ocean bicycle.

A fantastically nuanced character in a phenomenally written classic. Easily my second favorite variation of the devil that I've ever seen.

Richard Nixon (Futurama)

Rating: 21/100
Because I've only seen a few episodes of Futurama, I'm rating this character on spec. I very much dislike Futurama, so I added a couple points to my mean score of a Futurama character because Richard Nixon is a hilariously awful president.

Tough to rate this version off of the few episodes in which he's appeared that I've seen so far (my roommates and I are 2 episodes behind). Great casting, if nothing else.

I don't watch this show as it's an animated show, and I pretty much have absolved myself of all of that nonsense these days. Judging by pictures, I hate this animation style.

I have a soft spot for the man who is best known for awakening. Arkantos fit seamlessly into the tapestry of Greek mythology, and his unique style of leadership and tactics made him a sleeper favorite for me in the world of the real time strategy game.

Ooh, pretty good rating for him. Didn't think much of him and thought him fairly overshadowed, but I perfectly understand this and agree.

V (V for Vendetta film)

Rating: 97/100

Superior to the comic book version (There, I said it!), V is an exemplar of true justice, the right amount of anarchy necessary to combat fascistic tendencies, and the sort of character needed to keep the climate of that world in check. Throw in a certain amount of personal pain masked by the visage of Guy Fawkes, and you have something truly, truly special.

A perfectly adequate variation of Dracula. There's not a lot beyond the pomp and circumstance, the initial frills and style that trumps most substance. The new anime seems to be bringing a little bit of insight to the franchise, however.

A fantastic creation portrayed on screen by a phenomenal actress, but I tend to hit a limit with horror and suspense villains. At some point, I start to poke holes in the psychoses of these various crazies, and it feels less real to me. This tends to happen way more often in movies than in television.
