The crazy horse memorial. Now while the memorial does depict Geronimo and is a memorial to native Americans and was funded by an actual native American it dose have a shameful secret. The man who actually made it was a Polish American, a WHITE MAN!!!
I don't know about you but if anyone is making a memorial for native Americans it better damn well be made by actual natives using traditional construction techniques otherwise you're worse then Hitler.

I'm amazed nobody cares about the guy who shot Franz Ferdinand. He basically caused Stalin and Hitler to come to power because of the assassination. It's unlikely they would've otherwise. Tsarist Russia and Imperial Germany could have survived without WWI occurring.

Kinda depends on the issue and, in general, he tended to take extreme stances on everything. More importantly, at the time supposedly most viewers actually agreed with him so the writers' intent kinda backfired.

I am honestly surprised they haven't used him in the Assassin's Creed games as a member of the Brotherhood. The similarities between the Black Hand and the Brotherhood are so close that it must have been an inspiration for the later games (Not so much the earlier ones since they take place long before the Black Hand was formed).

I don't want any of my tax dollars going towards paying for any statue or monument. If someone wants to use their money to build a statue on their land, then sure, go for it.

But we have so many other, more important things the government should be spending the money they steal from us on.

Let's just say i wont be surprised when people start demanding the statue of liberty be destroyed

Yes, it's pretty well documented that some people agreed with him. However, it's pretty clear the show was making fun of him. He was a stupid shlop who said racist and sexist things and we all laughed at him. There is literally an episode where he accidentally joined the KKK. How can you take him seriously?

Oh I understand the difference. Laughing at them is the first few seasons of Family Guy, laughing with them is the last few seasons.

Again, that was creator intent rather than what actually happened. It's something which occurs when the creators are themselves out of touch with the general public's perception. Granted, *nowadays* the sensibilities may have changed enough for that to be true.
