Boy why would the Hound throw that rock?

Boredom

I actually liked that a lot because there's no way they would've just sat on the island for 2 days or whatever like robots. They're human.

Dany swooping in just in time after he threw the rock was bad though.

The Mountain hasn't done anything really in quite a long time and is still doing the oath of silence he took

I'm fairly certain that 'oath of silence' thing is just a cover for him being a fucking zombie and being incapable of talking anymore.

Actually, it was destiny designed by the lord of light that those things happened in such succession

Also I don't get the hype for Cleganebowl anymore. The Mountain hasn't done anything really in quite a long time and is still doing the oath of silence he took, if you believe that. He went from being a super interesting character to... a zombie in the worst sense.

At this point, I think I'd most want to see Cleganebowl as a non-Canon special feature. There's not much left of the real Gregor Clegane, and Hounds confrontation with him in the finale proves that. The Hound as we know him now has no reason to try for revenge on what is essentially the empty husk that used to be his brother

It'll happen. The writers would have to be insane to build it up with that confrontation and then not have it happen. It's just a question of how and when.

Does anyone think we will ever see another big-scale betrayal or there is No Time (tm) for that?
Feels to me like they killed off Littlefinger mostly because who the hell has time for politics anymore
And most charaters loyalities are already set in stone anyway

There is only one character that is suspicious, which is Varys
But after so many Eunuch jokes it's hard to take him seriously anymore
He might betray Daenerys in favor of..I don't know, maybe he knew about Jon all along?

Another character that people started suspecting since the latest episode is Tyrion, but I can't see it
When you consider the fact that the other side is..his sister, he doesn't really has a choice but to be loyal to Daenerys

What I do want to happen and I know it won't and it's probably not even logical - is for Jorah to betray Daenerys, saying stuff like "For King Robert!" and that would make all of us stupid for using the friendzone jokes

For someone who basically set the entire show in motion and then kept keeping it in motion, I did expect more from Littlefinger besides being half-handedly discarded.

but white walkers trump politics I guess

Just finished watching the season.

Was alright, but the time skips were a bit annoying. Wish more happened other than just the characters meeting up though, not as much drama as previous seasons.

It was time to discard Littlefinger. He got progressively sloppier the worse his hard-on for Sansa got, and I think we all knew his ability to achieve his goals had come to an end. His Sansa obsession left him out of touch with the entire rest of the plot.

If it was gonna happen, it would've happened when he had the Stone disease. One touch to her and she'd have been fuuuuucked.

It'd be hilarious if Jorah becomes a white walker and someone strikes the stony part of his zombie body with obsidian or whatever and he doesn't die.

Jaime and Cersei.

I personally don't see this unless they put a Littlefinger and make their relationship escalate far too quickly
Yes, they argue, they don't agree with each other often and Jaime is angry about Cersei
But from here to killing her..I can't see it

The most common fan theory about this is Cersei trying to destroy KL when she realizes she'll lose ala Dany's father and Jaime stabbing her like he did the father.

I mean of course this is the case. A major theme of the series is that despite how entertaining it is, the game of thrones is petty and pointless bullshit. It doesnt matter to the common people who get trashed no matter who wins, and it doesnt matter when big magic stuff goes down. That's why they call it a game!

Jon = Immortal = Draven

What if this series actually ends with multiple endings, one of those endings show that it's a prequel to LOL, that would be epic.
