Also, if you play Wild Naga Sea Witch apparently has a new interaction with discounted cards, such as Giants. Where the original card starts as 5 mana and then costs less for whatever you do

So Molten Giant is free if you have 25 health, for example.

First devolve turned them into the 2 snow giants (because that's all it can do)

my wild jade rogue deck is currently 30-11. At one point today I was at an 82% winrate before I went on a 4-5 skid.

Now if only I could make a standard deck that successful. There really aren't many wild cards in the deck. The only critical one is sludge belcher.

Got some free time this morning and I'm at 5-2. Gonna just play this out till it ends.

Game 8: Vs Mage. I went First. He played Frost Lich Jaina on 8. Yikes. Really slow game up till that point. I was able to fight him off for several turns but just was not drawing Bloodreaver Gul'dan, which I really, really needed to draw in order to have a chance. Finally drew it on like turn 16 or something. Yeesh. My life total was already very low though and I only got two demons back. I was able to regain a lot of life but it really didn't matter, since he already got way more value over time than I did. Loss.

Final Result: 5-3

Well that was certainly a run. 1 pack, 50 gold, 1 card.

I was Offered: Shaman/Rogue/Druid
I Picked: Rogue


Draft: Well it only took 19 drafts but I finally got a deck with some decent elemental synergy. Picked up a ton of three drops this time. I was already heavy on 3's about halfway through the draft, then there were multiple additional times I was offered two garbage picks and a three drop or even just three three drops and had no choice. Lol. Overall curve didn't look too bad though. Average tempo deck. I should always have a play on turn 3 at least, or turn 2 if I'm going second!

Game 1: Vs Mage. I went First. He opens by coining out Mana Wraith. I just... I have no fucking idea. Guess I'm taking 6 damage to the face at the start of the match. 7 including pings. Keeping in mind this was supposed to be a tempo deck and I had no plays on turns 1-3 because of this nonsense. I did manage to start pushing tempo after that. Got Blazecaller value on turn 7. Aw yeah. I got punished for some pretty bad meteor placement. Whoops. I didn't play much arena during Un'Goro so I wasn't thinking about this card as much as I should have. He waited till after I played my Hogleader to play Cabalist's Tome. Weird. Sometimes I get these odd feelings like somehow my opponents in arena are sniping me, even though I know it's not possible. But like I can't figure out why he waited to do this as if he knew I had the card somehow. Anyway even with my misplay and the 7 damage I took early on, I still managed to out tempo him. Win.

Fuck these Mage games are taking forever. I'm going to run out of time before I get anywhere.

Game 2: Vs Paladin. I went Second. Some good early cards in my opening hand. I pushed tempo pretty hard and pulled ahead but he got the PERFECT avenging wrath to clear my board on turn 8, resetting tempo. Oh well. I manage to pull into the lead again and his mad bomber is not so kind with the RNG to save him at the end. Win.

Game 3: Vs Paladin. I went First. Got some clunky situational cards in my opening hand this time though. I feel like I'd rather go second with good cards, honestly. For some reason he's running Fel Orc Soulfiend, which is good for me, since that is a terrible card. I simply put a taunt in front of it and regain a ton of tempo as it kills itself. Leatherclad Hogleader gets value this time as he's actually holding a ton of cards on turn 6. I'm one damage off lethal going into turn 7 and he picks up an Ivory Knight the following turn. It was not enough to save him, but it did buy him an extra turn. Win.

Not sure if the arena meta has for some reason significantly slowed down just in the last few days or if I got some weird match ups, but it seems like these games are taking comparatively forever. I don't even have time for any more games right now. Oh well.

I mean...I'm sure there are a number of people who work on the game. I wouldn't expect all of them to be familiar with everything, especially something as minor as the interactions of one specific card.

Playing jade rogue makes me terrible? Druid, sure. Shaman's had it's day in the sun during Gadgetzan. Rogue never gets any love in the jade department. And it's nothing like the miracle decks and other BS that most rogue decks pull.

Playing jade rogue makes me terrible? Druid, sure. Shaman's had it's day in the sun during Gadgetzan. Rogue never gets any love in the jade department. And it's nothing like the miracle decks and other BS that most rogue decks pull.

Nobody claims that Hearthstone doesn't have a big RNG element. Skill is also a part of it though. The better your skill, the less the RNG is a determining factor.

And please, if you enjoy the game, don't let RNG make you that mad and don't complain about it to us because we've alllll heard it plenty already.

So the last 2 games of quest mage I played:

First game I forgot to play ice block during my last turn

Second game I burned the quest by playing the wrong arcane intellect (yes I know the quest highlights but I wasn't paying attention)

This deck is hard as fuck to play
