I've literally only ever done it once just to say I did. I was absent mindedly going a bit over 90mph at like 2am on a highway (I usually only modestly speed) and decided that hell if I was already going this fast by accident I might as well just go a bit faster just to see if my car can break 100. And then I basically went back down to 80 right after.

I took a university van to 101 at 3 in the morning. But my own car wouldn't be able to go that fast.

i don't think i've ever even gone 80. i pretty much never drive in an area with a speed limit above 55.

hit 125 on a long straightaway stretch of country highway at night just to push my then-truck to its limit. touched 100 a couple of times since, but never gone that high again.

As someone who's done both, going 60 down a 30 road feels a lot more fun that 100 on a motorway.

I've come close to and maybe hit 100 a few times without realizing it. There's a downhill stretch of highway from Vegas to SoCal that extends for miles into the distance with no turns. You can probably push some insane speeds there with a capable car.

Yeah, I've pushed it up to 100 in some really, REALLY dead stretches of highway in BC. There are some really flat, open, and 100% uninhabited stretches of the transcanada up there where you can basically just drive at any damn speed you please. It's like being on mars.

103 mph once. Didn't really feel that fast, but I regularly drive 85-90.

I've done it once in every car I've ever owned. it's a little harder to do in the Northeast than it is in other places, but if the time and place align, it's doable
