When it comes to reviews (specifically movies), he is perhaps the most knowledgeable of them all. Unlike the majority of hackneyed "angry" film reviewers, James is the only person who's thoughts I will listen to, as he actually knows what he's talking about (it also helps that he actually made a movie, so his opinion is more worthy than most.) It was because of him and his Monster Madness series over the past decade that I myself have become more knowledgeable about movies in general, not just horror themed. His love of the classics opened my eyes to many films before my time. But I think it has to do with the fact that he's grown up now. He's successful, married, has a kid, did his own (crappy) movie, expanded his channels to do other material, etc. I'm just happy James Rolfe is happy and I enjoy his other contents now. He even stated in his updated videos that avgn episodes are going to be sparingly since they take more effort and work than his other contents. I really love it when he does movie reviews like monster madness.
