Cool that you can do the free summon after seeing which unit you get from the gacha. I got Ike at the end of two full sessions and I'm out of orbs already. -spd +res. Might do 1 more session tomorrow (assuming we get enough orbs from September quests) before I take Lyn.

I guess there's some encouragement for me to save up orbs now at least. I'll make a token effort on the CYL banner(And I'll pick my free 5* of course) but since after that I'll mostly focus on building up my Black Fang team. Voting Gauntlet means I'll still have plenty feathers after dropping 20k on Ursula.

I have another Tiki I don't use much that I'll merge this one into. I think Hinata goes to Corrin and new Lucina. Lukas is marginally better than the minus resistance one I promoted recently. Oh well.

Couldn't be happier with the Lucina though. Ideal nature and all. I think I'll try pulling green and red while the banner is still around.

Lyn might actually be stronger than Lucina. That's actually really surprising. Ike had the highest individual vote total at the end of the first hour. Maybe Ike really does have a chance to win? Especially if Lyn and Lucina waste their Flags in Round 1.

I had a feeling Lyn would outperform Lucina, but didn't think Ike could stand up to either of them. I'd be happy with Ike or Lyn winning it all.

I've always believed in Ike. Probably gonna pass on the free one for Brave Lyn though more because his VA in this game is starting to grate on me than because she's the obvious best choice.

I have like 6 orbs now. I only have two lunatic chain challenges left to get more. I had done a few to get back up after spending most on Innes. Going to be slow going now. I usually let it build to 100 or more before I draw from a banner, and had around 350 sometime before the Summer Corrin banner

Roy or Ike would be nice, but a plus speed Lucina was way more than I was hoping for.

Somebody on my friends list has a plus 10 Beruka. It can shrug off CYL Lyn

did the paralogues and some chain challenges and pulled again. got excited when i saw 3 reds but didn't get any of the fodder i really need (Lon'qu, Hinata, Palla, Selena). at least i got an iceberg and hone spd.

During non-boost hours, Ike is beating on Roy worse than Lucina beat on Ephraim. We know that Ephraim is about equal to Chrom due to their famous match. Despite getting killed, Roy is still getting more points per hour than Chrom is against Hector when comparing non-bonus hour against non-bonus hour. Ike looks really strong.

That's honestly one of the better tier lists I've seen though there are still things I'd quibble about it (e.g. Effie is too high, dancers and Olwen are too low). But yeah Tana is unquestionably one of the best lance users - statline, weapon, innate skills, you name it. I'm quite sad I missed her.

I'm a bit surprised that Lucina doesn't look better (I generally think of her as the single most popular FE character and she sure looked it in the first gauntlet), though the Awakening fanbase does have three characters to split them here (though Blazing Sword has two). She may be suffering because she's already won a gauntlet, to boot (Tharja and Camilla too). Ike's always been really popular so him winning wouldn't surprise me.

i thought Lucina could win but i wasn't exactly confident. Ike did get the most votes in CYL by a wide margin. i just thought Japan seemed more dedicated and Lucina's the most popular over there. i still think Lucina would at least beat Lyn in normal circumstances, and Lyn is only winning because of the hype for Brave Lyn, or maybe that repeat winner factor. but Ike might be too much for either of them regardless.

Yeah, I rather suspect RWF is indeed a thing (possibly not that big, of course, as you say). I have a hard time believing that combined popularity of the Blazing Sword characters exceeds that of the Awakening characters, as this contradicts pretty much every previous poll I'm aware of, including the CYL poll that this contest draw is based on.

lol this is lining up so Roy might get a bonus in the last hour and win. apparently a few hours ago he was projected to win, but Ike has slowed down since then and now Roy isn't projected to get that bonus until after it's over. but it's still close enough that just a small change in the trends could put Roy back on top.

likewise, Tharja could win just based on the past few hours and currently the spreadsheet predicts her to get a last hour bonus and win. that one wouldn't even really be an upset as Tharja's probably only losing due to 2 other Awakening characters vs Camilla as the only Fates rep.

Chrom is projected to get a big enough lead from his bonus hour right now to hang on and win but i highly doubt that. 10 hours is a long time. i definitely think Hector will come back, and there's pretty much no way for Chrom to get another bonus hour after this.

Lyn vs Lucina at one point looked like Lucina had a chance for a late bonus to win, but it's looking less and less likely at this point. Lyn's lead has barely gone up lately.

oh, Chrom was actually able to take a big enough lead to put Hector into bonus time now. that probably ends Chrom's chances. Chrom will get another bonus in an hour, but should be behind by a lot more than 10%, so he won't be able to take much of a lead if at all.

pulled Brave Roy during Roy's bonus hour. then get a team of 2 Roys and Eliwood against 2 axes and a healer in the VG. i have been getting incredible luck lately except with the stats. 4th -spd in a row, though this is the only one where it's seriously detrimental.
