Oh, right, people were going pretty nuts for the CG. I remembered it came up when people were talking Berserk as a "you think THAT'S bad?"

If it's just backgrounds then that doesn't sounds like a big deal. At least it's not Hand Shakers!

Tsuki ga Kirei looked pretty solid from what I saw, but then Persona 5 happened and I never got back to it. Really great first episode and then an okay second one, so make of that what you will. Also the visuals were one of the strong points imo, though I do admit I have a thing for that particular style. (Well I mean, not the backgrounds you're thinking of, but those really don't actually matter).

As for Your Name I also had it at around a 7 or 8 out of 10. Pacing was a bit off imo. I feel like the characterization portion should have been like twice as long as it was.

I legit didn't know there was more to the movie than the bodyswapping, and I guess I would describe the realization that resulting antics were barely present and mostly in montage was....dissapointing, really. Almost makes me wish it had been a series instead, though the striking visuals are impossible to ignore amd only possible in film.

Probably why Silent Voice's much more down to earth plot appealed to me so much more. While I wouldn't call them "antics", there was a lot more, just...living life.

TgK I mostly disliked for the meh MCs and the way the ending wasn't built up to at all. It's not that ugly of a show.

Tsuredere Children is one of those shows that I liked but thought would get old fast, and instead I love it more with every episode. If not for Made in Abyss this might be show of the season.

Nope. I need to though. I dunno if people liked the UBW movie? or maybe it was a tv series? I haven't seen any Fate anime

the UBW movie is DEEN I think (and bad)

I liked the UBW movie, but I did have the context of having played the game

it doesn't hold a candle to the series, sure, but it was passable

As long as the movie has like all the good Archer and Lancer moments I should probably be happy enough with it so we'll see.

The UBW movie fucking blows. Totally worthless and no value. Literally a compilation video of just Shinji from the show would be a better experience.

Mordred is in my top 5 Fate characters already, based solely on content from adaptations.

Yeah, that's BS. Can't find any reference to that.

And even if true it wouldn't really matter, anime ages are worthless. If a loli is 30 then it's still creepy. If a character is 10 but look 20 then the writer just has a problem.

Body wise the Saberface clones are essentially almost all the same right? Jeanne is bustier, but otherwise they basically all look the same and none of them look 12 or younger unless there's an actual loli Saberface I don't know about
