No 40% for me(I don't see myself pulling another SoV character, and I am NOT intentionally going for Faye). I suppose this is the time I raise my Lukas. He's +Att I believe.

...Damnit. Lukas is the only SoV unit I've pulled--twice, 4* both times--and both times I used him as Inherit fodder. ...No wait nevermind I forgot. I have Alm. Almost got him to Level 40 already, too.

And a salute to the Katarina I pulled way back when who got me to Tier 18. It was nice having a competent red mage.

This I can work with. I already have two of the Summer Units; got them in the same session. First time I ever summoned two 5* units on the same set of 20 orbs, I think, although I may have gotten my second Jakob at the same time as my second Nowi. Definitely first time I got two Focus units from the same banner, though.

I'll probably raise Alfonse to 5* so that I can stop worrying about arena bonus heroes, and I'll need a good score if I want to get back into rank 20 with a relatively unmerged team (made my Nino +1 earlier this week; that's the sum total of my merges).

And oh god no, not another tempest trials. I hope they make it less time consuming, cause I actually stopped playing for like a week after I got my QP seal (I was so burnt out). Hopefully they make the requirements more reasonable this time.

Decided to pull a few characters from the banner and got +HP -SPD Summer Tiki. Nature is unfortunate, but it should do as an arena bonus character.

Yeah, I hope the trials aren't as grindy as last time. Sharena is my only bonus character, and I don't want to use her

I would say the 200+ orbs I burned looking for Hector and pulling an off-banner -atk Faye during the hero fest finally paid off, but it doesn't look like they've taken any real steps to make the insane Tempest Trial grind more bearable (unless you're playing on lower difficulties I guess).

I mean, it's nice that the AI won't regain lost units or HP, but even if you had a perfect run every time so those things never came into play, the grind would still be crazy long.

i played the first TT on lunatic, but upping the points for the other difficulties could make it more bearable still. that way i can at least use it as a way to grind SP/HM on some characters other than the only 4 capable of taking on Lunatic.

I just realized that this TT could actually end up being more annoying.

The Awakening maps were mostly okay. With 2-3 annoying ones(Only 2 if you had a good anti-flyer).

How many SoV maps aren't a pain in the ass?

Do we even know which set of maps they will use? I think the bonus characters being worse, will make it more annoying. I'm considering just running the my A team out until the last map, kill all but one enemy, surrender and clean up with a bonus character.

God, was hoping to have some down time so I can train characters and shit. It's been a month or less since the last TT, and if they've done nothing to make it less grindy, it's really too much. There isn't even another chance to get QP it looks like.

Nowi is better than any of the summer units and that nature should be fine. + SPD, -RES is usually considered her ideal. I've yet to pull her

Nox actually stopped working on my PC like a month or so ago and I haven't got the urge to get it back up. I'm not even sure if I can since apparently installing a new version will wipe what you already have.

just tried Memu and it gets the same black screen as reported for Nox

it does work with the FGO image for Memu, but then i still get the error 803-3001, and can't delete the deviceaccount.xml file because it isn't rooted

Some people love Tempest Trials. I have a friend who got over 130000 points and I don't even know how many characters he got to 2000 Hero Merit via Tempest Trials. I wasn't one of those players so it wasn't really such a great idea to force my way to 50000 for Quickened Pulse.

I'll miss the bracket contests, though. I guess this goes without saying but I really like bracket contests. >_>

i wasn't too big on any of the previous ones, but the healer one ended up being really fun with the bigger bonuses and trying to project winners and bonus times. also probably helped that all my interests aligned there - i owned my 2 favorite units in it, and using both of them turned out to be the path to the most feathers.

as for the tablet thing, i hate touch screens and i don't exactly have a lot of money to spare. i see there's a decent deal on one for $130 brand new that i'm considering just to keep playing this but i'll wait and see if people find an emulator workaround. that $130 could go towards a Switch instead.

Touchscreen isn't really needed for a lot of games but Heroes puts it to pretty good use I feel.

Touchscreens on mobile devices are usually really responsive. They're a lot better than say, a DS.

You don't ever need to use a stylus either, unless you need precision like for drawing.

yes. it's inefficient and imprecise. it requires like 10x as much movement as a mouse and lacks the definiteness of pressing a button or key.

honestly i don't even like touchpads. laptop controls just keep getting worse and worse. i used to use those little rubber things in the center, but then they stopped making them. then i put up with a touchpad, got used to it, and then they took away the mouse buttons from it. the newest form of touchpads would be completely unusable to me if i couldn't disable mouse movement at the bottom to simulate buttons and even then it's still worse.

the first extra program i downloaded specifies bluestacks 2.5.x which i guess was the newest back in February. the newest version as of now does not work. downloading 2.5 now and will test later.

This Tempest Trial seems a lot easier. The maps make it easier to get a good speed rating, the enemies seem weaker and the final map is far easier.

haven't tried TT yet. still grinding up Donnel and Palla for the mkv infernal strat since that expires sooner (already had Palla at level 40 3*, but upped her to 4* recently and had only gotten her back to like, level 20. whoops).

With Faye, Ike, Reinhardt, plus Olivia, I have been able to get max points first on the 5-battle lunatic, and then twice on the 7-battle in my 3 tries. Haven't played enough obviously to know how much luck is involved in that, but I'm also not blazing through each attempt since I need to make sure my guys are taking as few hits as possible. Oh, and Faye is almost just dead weight.

Only had one death - that being Ike on the final battle of my last attempt where there were 5 reds plus Odin since Reinhardt can only kill so many people in one turn.

Still not looking forward to doing this another 147 or so times if I want all the rewards, but I guess it could have been worse.

I wish they'd make Tempest Trials MORE difficult and increase the points for completion. Grind events are terrible in general and the one thing this game had going for it was that they didn't resort to that.

Beruka's default special is the godawful glimmer, which doesn't even add any damage if the attack would normally do 0. if Beruka herself had Ignis, like anyone who actually uses her does, she might have one-shot your Lukas.
