Also notice how both years in the finals have Zelda in them? ugh. I know where the voting went to ... The years that should have won by default - 1988/89 (release of Megadrive and the BIG surge of gaming as we know it) 1994/95 (release of Playstation and the era of 3D gaming) The years in the final were just ... whatever really (except for Metal Gear Solid which was important for bringing a whole new style of game to the table) People didn't think, they just voted because Final Fantasy/Zelda =/ But the whole contest just felt flat anyway, I think due to too many subjects being in the years rather than a single subject (console/character/game etc) --- I want to live till I die, no more no less. <cite>Karyu posted [p:879575176] in say what y...
