You are also free to put in what games you beat in the Google word doc linked at the bottom of the post. Feel free to fiddle around with color choices for your entries in the word doc if you would like to record your information in it. If not, someone with time on their hands might do it for you.

There's more to do in story mode, but the credits rolled. Quite a good story; less walking into rooms with arbitrary villain characters. There are neither minigames nor QTEs, but getting to pick between characters is probably better, all in all.

Not sure if I posted this already, but I recently beat Final Fantasy XV (PS4).

I don't know what it was, but for a gravely imperfect game I really enjoyed it overall. I guess it's a game where it feels like it's more than the sum of its parts, despite the fact that it had relatively unspecial characters, a weirdly and sometimes illogically presented story, fairly simplistic combat, fairly simplistic/lazy sidequests, lots of tedium in getting around (load screens), certain recurring enemies when you don't want them...

Maybe it's just the world. The way the fantasy and modern technology that we have in the real world blend together. Or the relatable group of friends.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All
Really good final case. It's rather unique with how the usual rules of the trial are subverted. Wright and Edgeworth are cooperating almost the whole time, but they're "not holding back" like it's the World Martial Arts Tournament. The trial is basically a sham set up inside a hostage situation. But it's quite engaging.

Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows (3DS)

It took a bit longer to get the hang of the Plague Knight controls than it did for Shovel Knight, but once I did it was a ton of fun. I'm pretty impressed that they managed to make the same levels feel really different just by redesigning your abilities (while nowhere making the maps balanced around Shovel Knight either trivial or unfair).

Urgh. That was possibly the worst grinding I've ever seen at one point, and even after it the late dungeons were dumb, making us run from most monsters just to save MP. But once we hit the final rest point it was painless. Still not great overall.

I actually really like DQ II...! I've never played the original NES version though, which I've heard is more painful than the remakes.

Well, I have a new worst game ever. Good lord, I don't know why I stuck with this through the tournament mode. I haven't played a Mario Tennis since the N64 one but I remember loving it, and this one removed everything that made that one fun. There was no aiming or timing involved, those awful chance shot circles were the only realistic way to score. What a travesty of a video game.
