I kinda like Beruka but yeah that wouldn't be great I guess. Particularly because she has no good skills to pass.

17% is pretty massive-- if I only draw greens I should get one pretty easily. Think I'll still full draw the first batch because there are a lot of units I want and it's a more direct way to ramp up the bonus percentage rank. Hoping for Cherche or Camilla. Or better yet both so I can give Camilla's axe to Cherche

So guess I got 4* Tharja AND 5* Tharja. Huh. I think I'll just stop having spent 89 orbs on this (5 drew the first set, then only drew Greens on every other one I could, then 5 drew the last set with 5* Tharja cause I was at 3.5% at that point so why not-- also two drew one of the sets) even though I somehow did not get a focus.

Natures

Tharjas - +Atk -HP and -Atk +HP. Fortunately +Atk -HP seems like one of the better natures for her though I feel like she'd want +Spd most? Unfortunately -Atk +HP seems like one of the worst and is on the 5*. I'm wondering if +Spd is a must or if her natural speed is high enough that she doesn't really need +Spd

Cherche - -Spd +Atk. This seems like the best nature for Cherche as her speed is too low to double anyone anyway particularly with Brave Axe.

Camilla - +Spd -HP. Also seems like one of the best natures.

Also got Effie who seems like good to pass Wary Fighter on with. Does Wary Fighter cause Brave Weapons to fail? Wary Cherche could be pretty good if not. Also Raven who can pass on a Brave Axe without me needing to kill Camilla. Overall very good set.

Down to 143 orbs but I do have a bunch of Lunatic Quests to do today to help replenish.

Did a multi on the Kagero banner a couple days ago (to get Kagero obv), saw two colorless, two blue, one red

First colorless: Takumi! Then I thought "man it'd be neat if Kagero was the second" and then she was! (4*)

I didn't stop pulling there and regretted the last 3 summons but that's okay

People on Reddit seem to be thinking +Atk is actually more must have than +Spd on Tharja so perhaps this Tharja is the optimal Tharja. I'm not actually entirely convinced as +Spd is so important that so many units have it so Tharja would be able to double a lot less units.

+Atk will allow her to OHKO more easily though so maybe it is better considering her squishiness. Don't wanna get counterhit.

Although I will say for some reason I thought you could get + to up to two stats and - on up to two, for a total of up to 4 stats variation per unit, but then I saw Xuxon say there were 21 possibilities which supports only a + to one stat and a - to one stat. I guess if you can only have +1 to one stat then +Spd no longer becomes a must and yeah I kinda think this is the best Tharja. Awesome. Couldn't be happier. I will soon have a +1 +Atk -HP Tharja

+spd is definitely better, but +atk is still okay (probably better than my -atk +spd). i also probably wouldn't +1 her as she's the only source of the best red tome. unless she's just that much of a favorite that you're sure you wouldn't replace her.

Just got 5* Kagero on my second summon of my first pull. I'll go for 2 Effie's now

Edit: 5* catria on 2nd pull. Only pulling on blues

Finished with a 5* Effie and a 4* Effie, so I have 4 4* to merge into my 5*. My plan to have a powerhouse Effie is getting closer!

Also got 5* Ninian and Cordelia. Overall happy with these pulls

Tharja is my favorite Mage in the series and first-second favorite overall so replacing her would only happen if there was some sorta limited edition better Tharja (or Serra, I guess!) that was a red tome which seems unlikely.

May have to research SPD vs ATK a bit though. Don't wanna start +ing an inferior nature. I'm unsure of either one. Gotta look at Ohko breakpoints and double hit breakpoints

...So I bring my Roy into a gauntlet.... my two allies are two red units, and I"m put up against two blues and a Klein(archer).


Then Klein throws by attacking notroy and puts himself in a situation where Roy can attack him and he has no place to move. Not the way I expected to win this, but I'll take it.



Also how do people use their flags? All at once?

Use them in a round where you can place high on your team, or save them for the finals where feather rewards are doubled

Also be sure to use the unit that represents your team for the battles you plan to use flags on. You get 10% more points if you do that.

don't be afraid to use your flags in early rounds either.
the last round is almost fucking impossible to rank high, everyone is dumping them to win the match.

Using low level characters makes the battle easier. If you bring in Lv1 Cherche, you fight three Lv1-3s. Your friend will still loan you a Lv40.

Is the character you bring the character in your first hero slot? I think hector has been in every match I've done and he's in the first slot. Haven't messed with the voting gauntlet too much

The character you bring to battle is the far left character on the team you have selected.
The character you loan to other players is the far left character of your far left team.

What is your score? Rank 12000 on Team Cherche means you around 8000 points. Do you have not any flags to use to reach Top 10000?

I think if you spend the 200 Flags for 22000 more points, you'll reach Top 5000. The cutoff for Top 10000 looks like it will be around 10000 points.

200 flags got me to 6k. Hopefully another 100 will get me to 5k. Or at the very least I don't drop below 10k

i waited until the last second and decided to spend 600 flags. should just make it into the 10-30k for Camilla and still have a good amount of flags left.

I spent all 1110 Flags and played as much as my schedule would allow. I'm on the borderline of Top 1000 on Team Camilla so I'm really hoping that works out.

We get a daily orb for killing enough level 10+ enemies I believe.

But yeah atm they're not giving out freebie orbs(probably not a coincidence there's 4 whole banners right now).

I imagine they'll come back in the future, they need SOME way to hook free players like me!

And I just got 10 orbs from the login bonus so there's definitely free orbs still around!
(And 5k Feathers, and 10k Universal Crystals)

Tharja + Eirika + Ninian is such an insane core in arena it hurts. I'm literally having my mandatory bonus unit just sit in the back and no team can even come close to stopping me. This'll basically eliminate any pressure to pull for anything other than characters I like from here on, so yay. Time to save up for Ike or Soren, whichever we get first.

Was pulling for Effie or Kagero. Ended up with a +Spd / -Def Kagero so stopped and switched to spring banner but got nothing off that.

Kagero is good though I guess.

Also got to my first 20k feathers so have decisions to make

I've been getting over 4400 each week with a Tharja/Eirika/Azura core as well. The bonus character just needs to stay out of the way
