actually lopen, the person who i responded to said that this place is less of a circlejerk than most places (or maybe he said 'for the most part'). I said this place is just as big of a circlejerk as all social outlets, because it is.

Favoritism is always going to exist in social gatherings, its how humans work.

A circle jerk implies something above the normal amounts for human behavior in relationships. Otherwise it wouldn't be called a circle jerk it'd be called normal human interaction.

So if you agree with me then it would make sense to not call it a circle jerk.

Basically uh... circle jerk has negative connotations so it should be used sparingly.

I don't feel most of b8 in most situations are being overly nice to each other or backing each other up more than you should expect given a group of people who know each other. Not to the point where it should be called a bad thing/a circle jerk.

sometimes i think you are right lopen, other times im not so sure. Lately im in the "i think you are right" category. I made a nutrition/fitness topic (sadly it purged, i might restart it) and everyone was fair to everyone in it. I was surprised at how well it went.
