What. Brian Regan is hilarious, easy top 5 for me.

I feel like Dane Cook gets a lot of flak when he's really not all that bad. He's gotten worse with time but his older stuff is definitely still solid. Same with Jeff Dunham. I guess this board doesn't like theatrics or people that do voices/act out comedy.

My list includes Mencia, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Jimmy Fallon, Sarah Silverman. Also AVGN, terrible. To be honest there's not many people I find totally unfunny. edit: Oh. Sir Ron Lionheart. I must be the only one who doesn't get it.

Ray William Johnson and Carlos Mencia: Actually, I don't think I know either of these people. Maybe I ought to poke around to see what I can find...

Anyways, since most people seem to be in agreement with me on Jimmy Fallon, here's something I just remembered: He does the Late Night Show now, right? I remember a couple of years ago my brother and I were up around that time with absolutely nothing to do, so we put that on for a bit. He brought on David Ortiz, the DH for the Boston Red Sox, as a guest speaker. Because this is a talk show, and he's supposed to have guests to talk with. But it wasn't even that! It was just Jimmy Fallon using Davod Ortiz as a platform to talk about himself by saying things that weren't even remotely funny! He was like "You're on the Red Sox! And I was in a movie about the Red Sox! And this is what happened in the movie that I was in about the Red Sox..." Ortiz got a few sentences in here and there, but it was mostly Jimmy Fallon going on and on about himself. Ugh.

I just thought of an interesting case: Louis CK.

A lot of people hype him up as the funniest comedian alive. Personally though, I actually don't think he's all that funny (though he definitely has funny moments, don't get me wrong)... but the darker aspects of Louie are freaking brilliant. "Bully" and "God" are two of the best episodes of any TV show I've seen, and they're definitely primarily dramatic.

It's weird. I feel like he deserves all the hype he gets... but he's hyped for the wrong things, y'know?

He had an episode of Comedy Central Presents that was arguably one of the best performances I had seen up to that point, so him getting a show didn't surprise me; I was more worried for Mind of Mencia because it was coming immediately after Chappelle's departure. Mencia also remains a fine stand-up comedian, joke-stealing controversies aside.

Still, Mind of Mencia...what a terrible, terrible direction for him.
