Using a Wizard (level 14) first because I liked her VA and design better than the Demon Hunter. The game is really cool-- really impressed with the new abilities monsters have like knocking you back 20 feet or putting walls up or caging you or reeling you in. My fears about the game not actually being difficult are being put to rest. Also the big boss fights have a nice presentation touch. But I'm kinda disappointed that the weapons are kinda homogenized. Like I get better damage from my spells with a great sword than a wand right now. Is there ever going to be a reason to use wands I wonder. Same thing with Demon Hunter and say a melee weapon. Also there's no "attack with weapon" ability. As cool as a melee wizard sounds using the close range spectral sword attack your left click doesn't quite have the same feel as bashing someone with a sword. So I'm probably just going to play her blasty. But yeah still pretty fun. I'd love to be wrong about the wand thing. -- No problem! I've found that I had to use a stun to get away from a pack and let some cooldowns recover before reengaging. Plus there are ice bombs, exploding enemies, and those poison spores. And if you're standing in against a boss/named, it's not like you can recover orbs very well so you're stuck trying to manage those battles as well. RayDyn 05/17/12 1:20:00 AM #136:	Played a little of my Demon Hunter, should have named her KateBeckinsale, fun class to play. Only level 5 right now, so I'm playing her like a Rogue from D1. Got my Barbarian to level 25 and am about to finish up Act II. So far, I have only legit died (not from lag) 3 times, and all three were because I was surrounded by special enemies. The other two times I've died were due to lag. Barbarian is still my favorite class at the moment. -- ~=B8's Resident Ninja-Pirate. I was in a two player game and said "brb" to take my pillz, and the other guy just went ahead and died to the mage guy after the Ferryman. So I shot up there, not realizing what happened and killed the named mage, but then saw my pal was dead so I backtracked, and some rare berserker guys showed up, and the minion mages were still around. The other guy was also a barb... you really don't just wade in and tank stuff anymore at all. You really need to be active. I'm trying to figure out the best weapon/left click combo - I didn't find Fury all that effective with 1h, dual, or 2h. I think I like Cleave the best. -- Donny: Are they gonna hurt us, Walter? It got easier when I switched my skill layout from group-dealing to single enemy damage. Man, though, that Chakram is amazing, that and the trap means most enemies don't even get close to me. I don't know which of the left click primary attacks I like more. The chain one has a good effect, but does really bad damage. The bolas are great, but I don't like the slight time it takes for the damage to hit. Grenades are effective for groups, and the first you get is outshined by the others imo. -- You beat yourself up with your past. Don't blame yourself, blame the world. Blame God.
