The one that feels like it got cancelled that always surprises me is Yu Gi Oh.

Final Arc felt really rushed compared to the previous major arc. Makes it feel like it was canned, though at least it went on to have a good life post YGO manga.

Tone issue once combined with the animation is what's making people react.

It's not a big deal, but the show is big time, so it stands out.

It's not just the song choice that's weird.

The animation would not have meshed well with say a LH song.

Like, I don't actually mind the song, just not what I expected. I think Naruto/Prince of Tennis did that at times too.

Looking at the past top 10s. We've had some weird results that I absolutely love.

NNB has a top 3 under its belt, Love Live has two top 5s...we've had 3 different Digimon shows make a top 10, ok I don't like all Digimon shows.

For shows I'm surprised have never made a top 10.

Madoka - This looks to be the year, but I still don't like the show one bit.
Kill la Kill - Thank god it never has
Jojo - I thought Part 4 would be enough but it can never get a dedicated following here
Evangelion - Prestige is there, but it doesn't have Bebop/Monster level fans.
Any Fate series - Though Fate as a franchise seems to be growing ever since FGO came out. I thought it was done after UBW, then Jeanne Alter's thicc thighs showed up. Make a good anime featuring Musashi and I'll second it after Monogatari!
