So I hear the Netflix series isn't too bad.
I mostly consumed YYH through the manga and was never satisfied with the ending as to me it kinda aborted an arc and then sorta went for a non-ending.
After some of the more epic tournaments it did come off as a letdown.
Did the anime do the same thing, or did they go for a different approach?

Oh right this is one of those series where the face of the series technically isn't the main character...right?
I haven't checked out the anime, I've seen pages here and there from the manga, it does seem to go pretty hard at times.

Former champ, a terrific coming of age story that we can't recommend enough.
This appears to be a case of the manga is the adaptation of the show, which would make this one of only two Anime originals to have lifted the crown.
I guess Madoka/TTGL/OddTaxi are our best shot this year in the category?

Any Chocobos that can outright skip the Cactuar Doors by jumping over them or something like that?

That's how I navigated through some of the more difficult races I couldn't deal with, just floated and cut through or hovered over stuff.
