I vommited on a first date, she acted disgusted but told me about her long term failed marriage that theyd get into full on fist fights. Apparently she could fight well an instead of the cliche abused wife she and her ex would get into crazy brawls. It was a weird bad yet entertaining date. I wasnt interested in ever seeing her again and she thought me puking was gross.

I'd been talking to this girl on Hinge for a couple weeks. We had a ton in common and seemed like things could go well. We made plans to meet for coffee today (last time I heard from her was 2 days ago when we made the plans). I was running 5 minutes late due to worse than expceted traffic, so I texted her that I'd be 5 minutes late. No response. I arrive and sit at a table outside, and so I text her again and let her know where I'm sitting. Still no response. I waited another 15 min before I realized she had deleted me from Hinge (I hadn't gotten her actual number yet, silly me). What the f***. Not even a text telling me she couldn't make it or anything. Why does anybody think this is ok? The only thing I can think of is that maybe she was upset about me being slightly late, but even that's extremely petty. Just had to vent, carry on with your CEing.

Your blood pressure is pretty much as perfect as it gets for a young person. If it gets super low you can feel lightheaded, and if it gets super super low you can die. But that shouldn't happen unless you get insanely sick or lose a bunch of blood in a major injury or something.

I never understood the friends thing. I went to CC and uni, not once did I see someone go up to a stranger for a chat. It's always been high school friends, people they already knew.

And I haven't seen a single attractive girl in college. And every girl was taken anyway.

Also fuck college. Every test was outside the box shit with 90% of the material not properly covered, or not covered whatsoever.

Being on a big university campus this week made me realize how great it was.

- attractive single girls everywhere, many of whom are down to hook up
- easiest time to make friends
- crazy cheap alcohol
- everything within walking distance, including tons of restaurants and bars
- unlimited access to nice gym, cafeterias, etc covered by tuition
- "responsibilities" that are barely actual responsibilities

Literally a utopia for young single people. Should've taken more advantage when I had the chance. Oh well, back to adulting :/

I didn't pay for anything for her. We went for drinks and she was already sititng at the bar with a drink when I got there.

Literally we sat in awkward silence unless I asked her a question. She barely asked me anything the whole time. When I started to run out of questions to ask, things got VERY awkward. I don't think she was that shy (got more of a "not interested" vibe), but damn, at least make it not painful. She acted like this from the beginning and I couldn't just leave with a full glass of beer and open tab. Ended up being a pretty short date though, thankfully. Anyone have a similar experience?

If a girl is great in every other way, that's a petty thing to end things over. A lot of girls just have that mindset that the guy should pay on the first date. It doesn't necessarily mean they'll always want you to pay. However, if it's been like 3+ dates and she still expects me to pay, that's a major red flag.

I generally always offer to pay on the first date, but if the girl offers to split then she gets bonus points.

We might go out with a group this weekend. Maybe I'll try to dance with her or something and gauge her reaction.

Just met her last week, we're both students from different schools at the same location for a month.

- Her Facebook clearly shows a boyfriend for several years but idk if they're still dating. The last picture of them together was 2 months ago. She's mentioned her ex a couple times to me but has yet to mention a boyfriend, and I've spent several hours around her since we met. But idk, the ex she mentioned could be a different person than the guy in those pics.

- She's been very "huggy" with me and makes a decent amount of physical contact. Smiles a lot too and has been down to hang out in our off time. I don't know if she's being flirty or if that's just her personality.

Safe to assume she's single? If I make a move and she's not single things are gonna be really awkward the next few weeks.

But seriously, there's no denying it's gotten much worse the last year or two. I feel like 75% of what I hear on alternative rock stations is pop music. There are still some mainstream bands that are pretty solid. Young the Giant, Vampire Weekend, Cage the Elephant to name a few. But bands like AJR and Imagine Dragons are ruining the genre. Also, too many bands are selling out to a poppy sound (blink-182, Panic! at the Disco, Bastille, 311...I could go on). Just had to rant after a long car ride listening to the same alternative station.

It used to be the best one, until they made that stupid update where you can't chat with people until you match. Girls often won't even see messages anymore. Also, I feel like the average attractiveness on OKC has dropped over the last few years. Or maybe that's just because I'm getting older and all the good looking girls are taken now.
