I'm kinda curious how one would even go about becoming a "professional" pick up artist. Do you train up in the Tibetan mountains, and eat purple flowers or some shit? I knew one guy who thought he was smooth with the ladies, but he was really just a walking cringe generator.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm largely skeptical of these "professional alpha male" and "professional pick up artist" channels.

you get the training, from others and self taught. you need to really understand the technical aspect of it. then it's probably better to work for one of the big names initially. eventually you can break out on your own. you p much need youtube now to get your name out there and start generating revenue. then you create products with videos, etc and sell them. probably skipping a few steps in there

You know all those "get rich quick" schemes where these people are just DYING to show you how they became uber rich with these simple steps... as long as you come to their paid seminar and/or buy their books and pamphlets? It's that, but instead of real estate, it's vagina.

it is a business so yes they need to make money...but it's also education. you need to put in the effort and actually learn for it to be worthwhile. but if you do, you can actually learn. it's not a "get rich quick" scheme...in fact todd himself emphasizes it's not a quick or easy path, but it's the right path for the long term. but most of the money in pick up is made off guys that give up. i used to attend an annual seminar (free) and the guy speaking every single year said "a year from now when i'm back here, 75% of you would have quit pick up already" and he was right every single year

when i took todd's class 8 years ago it was $300 for 2 days of 6 hours of lecture/videos (and you could go to as many of them as you want in a 1 year timeframe, but he was in town twice a year). my friend took his bootcamp recently, which is 7 days of him going out with you nightly in addition to daily lecture/videos. that was 3k for the week. i've bought a few of his products which are video/lectures and you can watch it an umlimited amount of times, those ranged from 100-150.

but it's like studying...those things are helpful, but you can learn for yourself if you're determined enough. i've spent very minimally in my pick up education because i'm a very good learner (i'm an engineer) so i can teach myself very well. there are tons of free material out there as well on youtube, articles, etc

Where did I ever say you dont learn from doing...in fact I said the opposite, you learn from watching and then applying to cut down the learning curve. If you're just learning from trial and error with no guidance all you're doing is extending the learning process and being inefficient. Theres already guys like todd that learned via trial and error for 20+ years...itd be dumb to not learn from them
