While I enjoyed the growing genre of action-jrpgs (Dark Cloud, Kingdom Hearts, Okami, etc), I always felt that the PS2 had a very distinct lack of traditional JRPGs compared to the PS1. Nowhere near as big a drought as the PS3, but it was enough to make me notice the direction things were going in. Like I said, it's a really close call, but having FF4-6, Dragon Quest 4-6, Lufia, Super Mario rpg, Breath of Fire, and Chrono Trigger were enough to push it over the edge for me. --- "Evil is what you make of it.
