Beyond that... a "Philly steak" style pizza with steak pieces, mushroom, and green pepper...and I like black olive added too (but no onion, I hate onion) is good.

Then there's taco pizza...salsa instead of tomato sauce, and topped w/ taco seasoned ground beef, tomato, lettuce shreds, taco cheese, and bits of tortilla. Yum!

If Obama threatened Congress members when they didn't vote his way, that alone would have stirred up enough outrage among Republicans for them to try to impeach him.

The only part of this that makes me "unhappy" is if it means the Republicans actually give up and move on to the thing they actually want to tackle.... tax "reform" (if you thought cutting Medicare to give the rich tax breaks was trickle down economics, you ain't seen nothing yet!)

This healthcare issue has become so politicized that everyone lost sight of what's important.
Obama care isn't good, and there are absolutely better alternatives. Instead of coming up with one, politicians and media are making this a socially dividing issue, disregarding the fact that the current system is far from perfect.

These public servants who are supposed work for the people are refusing to do their jobs so they can polarize the issue in a metaphorical pissing match.

You see, the problem is all of the better alternatives are more liberal and have greater government involvement than Obamacare, so it's a non-starter for the people in control of all branches of the government right now.
Once again...Obamacare was originally a CONSERVATIVE plan back in the '90's from the Heritage Foundation, back before the entire Republican party went off the deep end.
Gonna be pretty much impossible to "move to the right" for a new plan w/o it being completely horrible.

But yeah, I quickly realized how much of a waste of money it was and had no interest in going again. Like, outright getting a decent escort isn't much more money than a few lap dances.

Money actually serves an important purpose and without it in some form, society would have never developed very far. Doesn't even belong in this grouping.

Borders, while the cause of lots of conflict and I can see why it's on here, also serve useful purposes. Namely, reigning in how much of the world's population evil, despotic, or otherwise terrible rulers/governments can terrorize. Yeah, they can try to ignore those borders and conquer more area, but having clear delineations of where a country's supposed to end is what defines invasion in the first place and not honoring those borders can draw other nations into the conflict to stop the conqueror (lest he later choose to ignore their own borders).

Religion and nuclear weapons are the clear choices here. At least nuclear weapons have a deterrence factor (less war, since it's so risky) and lead to the development of nuclear energy. Organized religion has no positives at all going for it, so I chose it. But both are very bad inventions.

I'd agree with the "trial by fire" mentality but it's the wrong people who'll get hurt.

House prices and rent are too fucking expensive and have been for a long time now. The recession provided no reprieve at all for rent and a brief one for houses (but the latter also experienced explosive wildly unreasonable price increases the prior decade so it was quite warranted).
Housing is treated as an investment first and a place to live 2nd in the U.S., with flippers snatching up homes to sell later for much more, wannabe landlords buying them up to rent out, and foreign investors (most notably Chinese, especially after their stock market went to shit a few years ago) buy them up as a stable asset and to ease the process of getting their kids into the country.

The worst part is people have been brainwashed into thinking higher property and housing valuations are a good thing. No other deteriorating physical asset is expected by society to go UP in value over time. Which is made all the more stupid by the fact that unlike most deteriorating physical assets, property gets taxed every year after the initial purchase on a % based on its valuation. "My house is worth $20,000 more! If I sold it today I'd make a good profit! But I'm 40 and in a stable job so that'd be fucking stupid, I'm gonna be living here for decades still... So I guess all I get out of the change is higher taxes... Yay?"

Meh, having a topic asking the question wasn't itself a problem, IMO.
The problem was the people who wanted to be able to answer yes but also be "protected" from being labeled what they are. I'm fine with that "group of people" (it's a naughty word 'round these parts, so I'll beat around the bush...) self-identifying, if anything it's better to know who they are.

I wouldn't trust it for much. But it sounds like in this case they already knew she was the one who shot her husband and the only thing in question was some sort of medication/insanity type defense. In that sort of case, I think it's fine if the parrot repeats statements that make it clear it was an intentional and/or premeditated murder.
It's not like they were unable to find the murder weapon and had no hard evidence of who shot him and are relying on the parrot to tell them.
