The Michigan woman was found guilty of first degree of her husband, 46 y/o Martin Duram where she allegedly shot her husband 5 times before turning the gun on herself in a failed suicide attempt It lasted 10 days with the defense listing her medications to evidence trying to convince the jury that she was not of the right mind at the time of the shooting It was unsuccessful as she was found guilty after 8 hours of deliberating by the jury where she made a gesture and mouthed something after the verdict was given and was seemingly SHOCKED that the words of a Parrot did her in. The parrot, Bud was the only witness but was not called upon trial. However, the ex-wife of Martin, Christina took the parrot in and overheard Martin begging for his life after being shot. Bud the parrot apparently said "Don't f****** shoot" while mimicking the husband's voice and was the final words he said that night.. The bird picks up everything and anything as it has a filthy mouth according to Martin's parents. Martin's parents said they were happy it's over but that the 2 year ordeal was painful as it took too long for justice.. Do you think a talking Parrot is usable evidence? let's see what people think. I wouldn't trust it for much. But it sounds like in this case they already knew she was the one who shot her husband and the only thing in question was some sort of medication/insanity type defense. In that sort of case, I think it's fine if the parrot repeats statements that make it clear it was an intentional and/or premeditated murder.
It's not like they were unable to find the murder weapon and had no hard evidence of who shot him and are relying on the parrot to tell them. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I would say yes. The parrot was basically a recording. Especially if it was mimicing his voice. Though the parrot could be taught to say whatever. Especially with two years in between.
