I was browsing the FedEx subreddit, and apparently drivers falsely marking their location and delivery isn't uncommon. One dude even said he saw the damn truck from his front porch at a stop light and then drive off, figured it mustn't have been his delivery, then moments later got an update that they attempted delivery and no one was home. :D |

Only real hiccups I've had are the salmon fillets (used to be excellent, but then a few months ago twice in a row I got ones that reeked of ammonia or something, so...I'm done) and some of the produce. |

Dragon's Crown feels the most like Diablo in terms of how focused it is on randomized level-based loot drops, but is technically more of a side scrolling beat 'em up (but has 6 classes to choose from and can be built differently depending on the skills you upgrade). Amalur has 3 classes with various skills and you can be purely one class or mix and match as you like, and re-spec for money. A lot of gear is crafting-based, but also sometimes random loot gives the best stuff. |

But for over 13 years, that $520K can be collecting interest/returns, so in reality it's probably more like 20 years to break even. And that's just when it equals out. First option was better for two decades prior to that, so I'd say you'd need to be collecting that $100/day for at least 30 years to truly feel like you came out ahead. Futhermore...I'd rather have the money when I'm young and healthy, what good does it do you when you're old and bed-ridden. So...my rough analysis comes down to: If you're under 40 and in good health, take the 1st option, you'll presumably live and be healthy long enough for it to surpass the up front payout. Otherwise, take the 2nd option. And really, 2nd option still is attractive if you're really young. Like, fuck would it be nice to have gotten my forever house in cash at 25, instead of wasting well past $100K in rent all this time... |

Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Garo (especially The One Who Shines In Darkness; there's multiple series w/ different casts of characters in the Garo "universe") all have pretty clear Western elements/themes and are fucking great! And of course, the Hidden Village was one of the best parts of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Not sure if it's weird to dislike "pure" Westerns but love when it's blended into other stuff, but that's where I'm at. |

I STILL make it a point to always ask my wife if she wants to join me when I'm going to go spend time w/ the female friend. It's sort of like conflict of interest. It's not enough to not have it. You should also strive to avoid even the appearance of conflict of interest. Just always been my view. Same would apply for her. So I guess my answer is "no". If your significant other wants to spend time w/ someone of the opposite gender and expressly wants it to be without you / you're not invited, to me that's an instant red flag.... I'd immediately wonder why. (edit: for hetero relationships, I mean... I have no experience or "right" to talk about how homo relationships would work) dioxxys posted... Like...it was better than middle school. But I still hated it. Had to wait till college to "start over" and have freedom. College, instead of the regimented classes of high school, it was a giant mixing bowl of picking your own classes and more "everyone for themselves". I could go to gaming club and anime club and have friends there, then go to martial arts and have a totally different group of friends there, and so on... Just way more fringe interests available to cater to weirdos like me, and ironically the much larger body of students made it much easier to not be "part of the crowd" because there's so many people and you're constantly around completely different groups from one class to the next or one hobby/activity to the next. EDIT: Also had very overbearing parents, so living away from them made ....other things... much easier, too... |

And yeah, computers are processing these resumes, so I'm not surprised at all that it could be gamed like this. Would love to see the original not-crazy-for-lulz version, so people could all use it as a template to get past the AI-gate and get looked at by a human.
