I honestly dont understand this mindset. The last place I would want to work is at home and I say that as an introvert.Whats not to understand? Working from home means saving a ton of money on gas. And car maintenance. But more importantly, more free time. Instead of spending an hour+ driving every day not driving at all. Not to mention not having people hover over you all day, being loud and distracting. Getting to listen to music or put on a movie in the background or something. What's your work/life balance like? I like working for the social aspect of it but I also enjoy myself every day, even on days I work, either before or after a shift. Also I think a lot of people just like the feeling of getting shit done. Maybe it's depression or something else idk, but I always find myself laying around and doing nothing or just getting bored after a while of no work. That doesn't mean I want to be back at work while I'm on vacation but when I was in the hospital or furloughed during covid I did after a while. Work / life balance is ok, I guess. I just have such a shitty and stressful job that it takes a LOT out of me. So many coworkers were like youll get so bored, youll be wishing you were here.
