I don't see it as a bad thing. I'm sure a lot of restaurants/businesses are benefiting from more business. It doesn't seem to be a London-type situation where people buy houses only as an investment and only stay there for maybe 2 months out of the year.

They kill people just for having beef in their possession in India wtf.

This is a bit misleading. Although it is true that most Hindus don't eat beef, a growing subsection of the young Hindu population in urban areas does eat meat without any issue. Most people in urban areas, even the ones that don't eat beef, do not have an issue with the people that do eat beef. The killing of people for eating beef is only thought about in rural villages.

How did you do this?

Also, that's why I would suggest to carry with you (i.e. pockets or under the seat) anything valuable that you wouldn't want to go missing.

For the iPad, you can turn on lost mode to remotely lock a missing device. There is a similar system for my laptop.

I dont understand. You had your items with you while in the plane as carry-on? Where they in the overhead locker or under your seat or in your lap?

I put all of my electronics in the overhead bin. Everything was zipped up, but the suitcase did not have a lock.

The tracking devices right now can't find the device. Looks like they are both turned off. I'm keeping a watch though. I remotely locked both devices.

Recently came back from vacation in Europe and was on a long-haul flight that took roughly 12 hours to get back to the west coast. I would have put my devices in the checked luggage but I read stories that TSA has had cases where they have stolen personal items so I decided to just bring all the devices with me in a small roller bag.

The flight started pretty normally. A bit after take-off, I used my laptop to check some work stuff and then put it back in the roller bag when it was time for dinner. After I ate, I slept for a couple of hours. I think it was around this time it was stolen. I didn't pull anything out of my carry-on for the rest of my flight. I didn't realize my laptop and iPad were missing until I got home. I notified my airline but it seems unlikely I'll get it back.

Keep a watch on your carry-on devices guys.

Been to all of them. They're all awesome cities. My favorite is Seville its just gorgeous. I stayed at the Melia it was really cool. Check out the Alcazar. It's gorgeous, and it's where they film the gardens Sansa is always walking in for GoT.

I think Granada is where they do a big Andalusian horse show. That's awesome, highly recommend. Obviously Alhambra too.

Malaga is just a beach city for rich white people. It's beautiful still, but feels less traditional.

Nice!

What is there to do in Seville other than the Alcazar? From my research, it seems like there is less to do there compared to the other cities I am visiting.

Also, what are the most pedestrian-friendly places in each of those cities?
