The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (via Wii U)
Breath of the Wild had an unusually great premise for a Zelda game. This does too. It also does something with it, giving us some of the best 3D action-adventure dungeons and a life-filled, yet rather bleak world. The Shenmue-style time system has its downsides (when you just have to wait) but overall it's an excellent game.

Alright storytelling sort of game. Puzzle mechanics were a bit interesting.

Dragonball Z: Buu's Fury(GBA)
My memory was perhaps too forgiving of this one, and by the end I was quite happy to be done with the series. It pretty faithfully adapts the plot, even including some movies. It has a charming sense of humor. But the combat and balance are all kinds of broken, with many bosses being unable to do anything about being punched against a wall, useless energy attacks (Just be SSJ all the time and punch things), and either making you near-invulnerable or incredibly fragile. I thought the weighted clothing was a source of imbalance, but story areas are frequently gated off with minimum levels for a character which I often needed to grind for, so there's really no avoiding it.

Donut County (PC)
Cute and fun. Too bad nearly the only fail states are when the physics makes items fall out of bounds. Because that happened with a couple levels.
Hidden Folks (PC)
Also cute and charming, but sometimes rather frustrating. Too many objects I just didn't realize were interactive. And combing through lockers and files isn't much fun.

Dragon Ball: Revival of the Demon King(NES)
I'll give it this: it's not a pain to play through like the previous game. It sort of covers the King Piccolo saga by way of text adventure segments interspersed with RPG card battles. But the card battles are really basic and don't require any strategy whatsoever. Also you fight the demon Ukelele as the only random encounter for so long that the game should be titled Yooka-Laylee.

Cute as DB fanservice but that's about it. The RNG is God here, because it determines whether you get precious health (which drains continuously) and your weapon if you don't have it, or a bunch of useless junk. Oh, and the last checkpoint is about 4 levels back from the ending.

Sound Shapes (Vita)
Nice straightforward game. Beat School is fun, and Death Mode, while heavily RNG, is not bad to play through. Neither really matches the presentation of the regular levels though.

Well it's good, and the use of all the control schemes suits the series' spirit of chaos. That chaos is best on your first run, though, and I've yet to determine if it can dethrone Twisted! as my favorite. Probably not, given that it's sort of an anthology title.

I remember it was. It's a bit janky but that's not unusual for the Limbo style of puzzle platformer and it isn't that hard to get through so I don't see the problem.

I'll always remember this as the perfect game to show to my parents. It's pretty, not too violent, draws on folklore and has documentary segments sprinkled throughout. They have effectively no interest in games overall. I liked it too.

The community for fighting games that aren't super mainstream is near non-existent anyway. Might be better if devs/console manufacturers would implement cross-platform multiplayer already.

Not at all. They don't even have public recycling pickup here. But they were phasing them out where I lived previously. Gave you back 10 cents per reusable bag or something. Those reusable bags are generally better but plastic grocery bags have various uses if you're getting them for free.

I think I was one-shotting every single unit at that point. The last hard fight was that guy with the assassins. Or maybe the jerk at the bottom of that cave. Had to give up on Ultima and that other guy's thing.
