Mm. I've been trying this Yu-Gi-Oh one. It'd be nice to actually play cards but it does kind of seem full of gacha. At least there don't seem to be daily goals.

Not sure there's any sign of it collapsing. They found the way to make money in the casual market because there's a device everyone brings everywhere. Well, that and the current craze e.g. Minecraft, Fortnite and Flappy Bird.

Gacha and mobile gaming in general makes absolutely absurd amounts of money, especially in Japan. It's not going anywhere any time soon. Honestly it's a relief we still get so many actual video games of quality when mobile game numbers definitely tell developers they don't need to try that hard to make mad dosh.

Are you talking about duel links? At the very least, the way it's set up, you can get every card from a set or "box" guaranteed if you pull on it enough. Maybe there was only 1 card you wanted and you get lucky 10 packs in, but there's at least an out if you don't.
