I got myself ready to bring it up tonight but then they fell asleep earlier than usual, which I'm glad about as they've been sleeping terribly lately. Hopefully find some time tomorrow. I guess it shouldn't be a big deal.

We were talking a few months ago about getting me some different clothes to wear in the day at home but that was just as a crossdressing thing, then the schools shut and there's always 1 or 2 kids here so nothing happened with that.

I played a lot of Heretic 2 as a kid, mostly with cheats as I liked exploring the levels. I played Hexen a little bit.

I was wanting to play the whole series, looks like everything apart from Heretic 2 is on Steam. Hopefully not too difficult to run on Windows 7.

I've never played Doom, should probably rectify that too.

I had the issue of getting exhausted by the length but not wanting to waste my money by leaving. I usually like to get up and stretch my legs when watching long films at home. The sound was way too loud as well and it set off some sensory issues. I really liked the water planet and the design of the kind of library black hole thing at the end, where he was sending a message to his daughter

Yeah we talk about all sorts of stuff, we've had some conversations about gender but it's been awhile. I think they'd probably relate and understand but my own anxiety is freaking me out and making me scared it'll go badly.

So I'm biologically male, raised as a boy. It's never felt quite right to me. I've never related to boys and then men of my own age or older. Honestly sometimes I've found myself being outright terrified of men.

I went through a period of time when I was 25 of identifying as a woman, some of it was pressure from my girlfriend at the time and some of it was my own feelings. But that wasn't quite right earlier. Although I definitely feel more comfortable in women's clothing and with long hair and being clean shaven. I'm a parent and it's always made me sad that I could never get pregnant and give birth.

I keep thinking I'm probably somewhere in the middle of man and woman, I can identify with and feel connected to non-binary/genderfluid/genderqueer art and stories I come across. I don't know how to say this to anyone in my life though. My dad probably wouldn't get it. My fiancee identifies as genderqueer so you'd think talking to them would be easier but it's not. I keep internalising all this stuff and it's making me anxious and unhappy.

Anyone been through similar experiences?

Nope, they're rated M for mature (or whatever the equivalent is in Europe and other places) just like TLOU2.

One recent example: Omega Labyrinth Life is rated M in the US and Sony demanded extra censorship for the PS4 version while the uncensored version was allowed on Switch, and even the censored version got the same M rating in the end. Sony demanded extra censorship from this game and many other anime-style games even when the original was already within the bounds of the M rating, yet gives TLOU2 the okay to include a sex scene that's several times more explicit than anything in OLL or any Senran Kagura game because... why, exactly?

There's only 3 pages so far but I've got most of the plot and text planned out.
It's about magical girls, a deathmatch wrestler who holds the key to everything in his damaged mind, a demon, Japanese softcore films (no nudity though), psychic experiences and bad drugs.

A lot of it comes from an unfinished novella wrote using the cut up method and using tarot cards and dice rolls to generate plot points.
