There's places like project gutenberg that have a free selection of public domain books, if you check your kindle options it should have created an email address specifically for it. You can download on your pc and email them to your kindle

It costs a monthly fee but kindle unlimited is very good, I assume it works on a paperwhite.

In my eyes there's no doubt that the ST is that bad. A trilogy with an actual endgoal is always better than what this shit was.

The Last Jedi imo was a logical and reasonable continuation of the plot points and characters from The Force Awakens, that for reasons I just don't get a certain section of the fanbase couldn't understand or accept. I'm yet to see it but by all accounts The Rise of Skywalker ended up the way it has because of all the whining of angry TLJ haters.

The prequels are a mess from what I remember.

Someone believes gay people should die? Disabled people should die? Transgender people deserve to be murdered? Someone believes whites should rule over everyone else? These are increasingly common opinions and people who hold them are fucking worthless pieces of shit and if you deny that then I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you.

I hate shitting on the mentally ill as I have mental health issues myself but I had an ex who got diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder while we were together and being with her was full of exciting highs and times when she'd do the sort of things you mention (and worse), it was a living hell and that and the stories I've heard from others makes me think people with bpd just shouldn't be in relationships. Though they are compelled to seek and destroy them. Good luck, I hope you recover from this setback. It's fine. I've been on lots of antidepressants and drank heavily on all of them.

I used to like Domino's but the delivery guy was abusive the last time I used them and told my neighbour how much I spent on the order which led to my neighbour increasingly harassing me for money. I've since moved to a different town but the place here is apparently really bad.

By someone pushing past me to get up the escalator. I'm pretty unsteady on my feet.

I get really nervous on escalators and scared of people walking up alongside me and knocking me down so I deliberately stand as widely and firmly as I can. They're horrible things. If stairs are available I will always use stairs.

Benzos, I was getting various kinds wherever I could and felt I couldn't live without them. I was having 10+ pills of varying strength a day for 6 months before I kicked out of it. Ruined my life for awhile and alienated me from family and friends.

After and kind of the same time there was codeine and other opiates. I started with buying cough medicine and drinking that, moved on to buying pills. Had a bad experience that came close to an overdose that freaked me the fuck out. I take prescribed tramadol now for pain and I don't abuse it so I think I'm good there.

I've had problems with alcohol for about 5 years, got to the point where I was drinking either 2 or 3 bottles of cheap red wine a day or when I had more money 70cl of rum or cheap bourbon followed by beers every night or 2 of the big bottles of alcoholic cider sold in most supermarkets here very cheaply. I wouldn't drink until the evening unless I wasn't going to be seeing anyone and I would never drink when my kid visited but it got very bad and I've had some counseling for it. Now I have a stable homelife and a partner that can't drink for health reasons I barely touch the stuff. I'll have wine when my family visit or maybe a few beers a month. All good really.

I'm not sure if it was a proper addiction but for about 2 years I regularly, basically whenever the online pharmacies and local ones would sell it, abused dxm containing cough medicine. It ruled my life and I still maintain it's the most enjoyable drug high and feeling but it's very destructive and not good if you're around or in communication with other people.

No real resolutions. But I plan on watching and reading more films and books created by women and non binary people. Also watching more films made before 1960 as that's a huge blind spot for me. Just positive simple to do things that make me more aware of other viewpoints and history.

What kind of man hates stop motion? I understand not liking that specific film, my partner is crazy about it but I thought it was simply good. But I've never in my life and all my time discussing and reading about films (this is what most of my non film watching spare time is spent doing) encountered anyone who just flat out dislikes stop motion.
