Star Wars has always been political. Also this post is hilarious, "cinemaphiles" the word you're looking for is cinephile and it's been more well received amongst those types than most Star Wars films.

I regularly watched WCW from 1999 to its demise then WWF/WWE until about 2003.

Nice, you're totally right. I have to be in the right mood for 70s and 80s porn but there's a lot of good stuff. Then there's the Japanese softcore pinku scene that has some of my all time favourite films and certain directors and writers explored some pretty interesting themes.

I never got too into online gaming but I tried with some success before having a kid and also when I was single and living alone. Now having a family home with a partner and a stepkid + my daughter sometimes I just can't get on with games I can't pause mid fight.

It's incredible. I watched The Missing Pieces film as well and liked that and saw it as a kind of multiple realities thing. I'm not the biggest David Lynch fan but Twin Peaks (especially fire walk with me and The Return) means a lot to me. I'd say it's the best tv show of all time. I read the Secret History books as soon as they were released.

I like how fwwm makes explicit all the seedy stuff that was more under the surface in the original two seasons, it makes it all feel like much more of a truly dark horrific experience.

The Lighthouse is my personal favourite that's eligible for awards this season, but I guess it was too weird for best picture.

I didn't like Parasite much either.

I was diagnosed with aspergers about 16 years ago and I have this issue, it's very frustrating. Most of the other stuff mentioned in the post quoted is like me, although I like interacting with others (in a very happy relationship). My partner has a lot of autistic traits, she went for an assessment but by the sounds of it the person assessing her didn't really know their stuff. They said because she forms emotional bonds she can't be autistic.

My sex life isn't too active, my partner is disabled and housebound (on the worst days she can't sit up at all) but we're very close and romantic and affectionate with each other so it doesn't worry me at all. I know if she was feeling up to it we'd do more together and I'm happy to do what I can for her even if she's not up for reciprocating. I've had relationships where sex became rare because of drifting apart and that sucks but this is very different. We've both got high libidos it's just not possible a lot of the time.

Get SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions, it's turn based but also very refreshing and different. It's not a triple A title but those mostly suck anyway. It's one of the best jrpgs of recent years

Guess I'm not a Star Wars fan despite loving the series since I was a kid, seeing as I thought The Last Jedi was excellent and I don't see what was sjw about it.

The plot was the worst thing about Sun and Moon, I gave up on Moon because the plot was so poor and full of needless exposition. If these games have minimal plot that's a good thing.
