The Reviews are in and it looks like the fans and critics are calling Star Trek Discovery amazing.

The CBS All Access show premiered with 2 episodes as people were greeted with it in Los Angeles as fans were eagerly anticipating the show lead by Sonequa Martin Green.

The show is called "bold, daring and exciting" as people seemed to have their fears of the show being less than impressive all in vain as it does boldly go where no star trek show has gone.

The first episode will air on TV on September 24th while the rest of the series will air on CBS online platform

Openly gay actor Russell Tovey, from ABC’s Quantico and HBO’s Looking, has been cast as The Ray, the openly gay superhero coming to the four-show Arrow-verse crossover, as well as a solo animated series on The CW Seed.

Raymond “Ray” Terrill is described as “a reporter who discovered a group of government scientists working on a secret project to turn light into a weapon of mass destruction. But before he could report on his findings, the project head exposed Ray to a ‘genetic light bomb.’ The bomb failed to kill him and instead gifted Ray with light-based powers. With these abilities, Ray realized he could go beyond reporting on injustice — he could take action to help stop it. Calling himself The Ray, he was recruited by Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters to fight violence and oppression wherever it exists.”

Russell Tovey is a fantastic actor, so I'm pretty excited for this.



Not only is he a great actor, but he's pretty cute too.

2017 is a great time to be alive, as long as you understand that the negative media hype is nothing compared to the actual good that goes on in the world. If you think the world is an awful place, remove yourself from exposure to the media for a month and see how you feel.

In our fast paced life nowadays, sometimes it's too easy to forget how amazing today's world is.

I was reading Time Magazine before class this morning and saw this:



That's incredible. Soon much more people who will die from acute cancers will soon have the option for treatments like the one above.
