I've found it pretty useless as a general discussion tool. Anything with more than a few users goes by too fast. I don't see much use in an open format chat room. For more niche stuff and stuff with less users, it's more comparable to a forum.

Itll be more slow than that probably. I think first thing theyll do is slowly get rid of less active social boards, then prune any old game boards into just a single board per old system, then theyll probably try to merge active game boards with their moronic Discussion system that they have on Fandom.

A mass exodus would definitely be a good thing, not necessarily for the sake of this board, but just because that theyre clearly going to try to turn this place into a hollow husk within the next few years. If they had any legal hold over the FAQs, the social boards probably wouldve been gone day one.

I don't get why they don't just trash all but the most recent game forums at this point. I cannot imagine the the traffic the site gets would be impacted in any way. Pretending they actually care while slowly removing and modifying things over time is always such a silly approach.

If were talking about a scenario where person 1 intentionally starts a physical altercation with person 2 and purposefully tries to escalate it so person 2 puts person 1 in a situation where self-defense might be justified, I could see that muddying things. But were otherwise talking about having disgusting thoughts and going somewhere danger might happen, which is very different.

Does that have much impact on self-defense? If a guy says "I really want to kill robbers" and then goes out to shady areas to wait to get mugged, would that change anything?
