Probably just the designers paying lip service to Skyrim, b/c it's such a highly rated game.
The core of the gameplay and open world design in BotW is from Xenoblade, since Monolith soft helped make it.
If it borrowed heavily from any Western franchise, it'd be the Ubisoft games w/ the towers, lol

Yeah. The only things the games have in common i can think of other games have done before even Skyrim. Which are very generic things like being open world horses cooking foods

Cant remember came real close about Idk 5 years ago when i dropped something heavy on my foot and it caused bleeding under the toe nail. So glad I had a manual powered drill. Just drilled through the toe nail to let the blood come out and it relieved the pressure instantly and the pain dropped by like 90%.

I'm no longer a wrestling fan. But for the decade or so I was it was Hogan that got me into it. Wacthed one of his movies (surbaban commando I think) and recognized him flipping through channels one day in a match against sting.

Hulk Hogan. It was a interesting insiders view on the wrestling industry. It coverer more of his life than wrestling but considering hes probably the biggest name to grace wrestling it was the bulk of it.

it's funny how so little work can some like so much when you're young and used to having so much time off. the reports they expected probably needn't even have been very long.

i regret taking ap english but i'm sure it would have been a better experience if i were smarter and my classmates were too. a bunch of midwit 17-year-old know-nothings attempting to please teacher finding meaning in the kinds of books sunhawk reads. my friends in english iv had way more fun and are more likely to have continued enjoying books all these years later than my classmates in ap!

1 book was probably too short (Lord of the flies) and Idk it a autobiography woulda counted but it was near 800 pages so it was definitely good length wise.

I prefer canned over frozen. I don't like biting into a pea and all the guts squish out leaving a shell that gets stuck in your teeth. Canned peas pop and turn into a wonderful mush, shell included.

Open a can, pour out the water, and simmer them in straight butter. Drain and throw on top of mashed potatoes. The best ever.

Generally speaking I prefer canned veggies over frozen anyday. Think limas are the exception and corn i dont care either way.

Frozen spinach as much as i love canned though is fucking disgusting. Like no amount of salt seems to make it not taste bland as fuck.

Even though yes, if you look at the average pet dog's food, you'll see pet food is rarely meat, and a large chunk of pet dogs get fed "human" food and eat any and everything. Not trying to argue with the rest of your post just wanted to say I have the theory that dogs have adapted to be "scavenger" animals. Aka will eat any food thats easily obtained. Dogs have been domesticated to the point they suck at hunting for food. At least based on dogs ive seen/been around.

Mines pretty good at catching opposum though but ive never given her the chance to see if shed actually eat it or just kill it and be done with it. Im thinking the latter though cause she doesnt go for a kill. Ive seen a pitbull kill this. one just acts like they are chew toys and chews on them without drawing any blood.

Wonder if she was trained to hunt cause sometimes she just comes to me with thr thing hanging out of her mouth like she wants me to be proud of her fpr catching it.

I would not recommend rats to people who cant handle losing a pet though. They got super short life spans just long enough to become really attached. I accredit having them as pets as to why despite really truly loving my pets i dont get completely tore up when they die.

You know as popular as the wild west genre is in other media ive always wondered why it's not that common in video games.

Also civil war era america. I did play a game once called civil war. Was basically a call of duty rip off and i always wondered how much better it could have been had it been made by a bigger company. Sure people would have bitched though cause it did use somewhat realistic loading times on thr guns.

Not saying it doesnt play a role but demograohics also play a role. If you stand to sell more to straight white men you are gonna market it towards white straight men.

Sometime some folks need that harsh honest opinion. Granted some folks might need to be a bit more tactful in how they express their opinions and/or express them in some constructive manner.

I recall a discussion years ago, a friend posted on Facebook about not wanting negative opinions when no opinions were asked for. I do not know what is the context of the post but few of us chimed in and expressed our own beliefs that sometimes people need to be harsh with their opinions especially if something might be detrimental.

Depends on the person. If i know nothing I say will make them even consider changing it becomes a why bother scenario to me. Dont see the point in pissing someone off if it will accomplish absolutely nothing.

Yeah people are attributing way too much power to debug. Usually you can just adjust specific values, spawn items, and load levels. It's not omnipotence.

Depends on the game.as stated earlier id be fine with just shadowruns debug. Semi unkillable shit ton of cash and ton exp.

Edit: also if it worked like the debug in shadowrun. Where I magically teleport to a room. id have a place to sleep as there was a bed. Wonder if any of the women in that room ever get lonely if ya know what I mean.

This. I think its intentional even to reflect real world problems sometimes in fiction. This though has the added dilemma that the races are inherently different in ways they cant control unlike human racea im the real world where outside looks other differences are negligible.

The problem with that is that it would with your own sense of reality, imagine what it would be like if you know almost everything about all the people you get close to after that save and have them become strangers again and again

And that could alter things unintentionally. Its hard to pretend to not know things you shouldn't sometimes. I mean even in the just how you treat them based on what you know. Like Becky was such a bitch and I tend to avoid her. Reload a previous save before I learned this but im still avoiding her and she has zero clue why and thinks im a dick for it.

It actually wasn't part of the script written by the credited writers, but tossed in by producer Stokely Chaffin. You can twist it around to say it's part of Jason's subconscious because of what happened to him as a child, but it's still a bogus inclusion considering he's been killing teens in the water many times since.

Speaking of Freddy vs. Jason, Evangeline Lilly has an appearance in the high school when Will visits.

Perhaps it can be twisted that it was a buried memory of jasons and Freddy brought it to the surface. Far fetched to think he forgot how he died but maybe it was a coping mechanism.
